   Hiyah, My name is Maddie and my husband recently brought home a cute little kitty girl who needed a home.
   I have had her for 2 days and of course I am worried about Everything, but so far things have gone well. She is on Milk Replacement and I have figured out that she has to be close to 4 weeks old.

   She eats very well, I give her some wet foods on the side but the main part of her meal is the Milk. I get her to poop and pee by stimulating her bottom with wet tissues and her poop seems fine - but she has yet to go on her own in any way. She doesn't even have "accidents" where a single drop of pee comes out, Even though she went the entire first night and half day without responding to my stimulation. Not a drop in her box.

   Will she start going in her box on her own soon or is it too early yet?
   (With box I of course don't mean the litter box, I am referring to the little
   box that I keep her in that has towels and blankets in the bottom)

   Welcome to TDK, the fuzziest place you can be. If you give us a chance, we'll be the best cyber-family you ever had.

   People usually have more trouble getting their hand raised orphan kittens to poop. It's possible that she is conserving her fluids. Can you try diluting her KMR a little bit? That might promote some pee.

   It's a little early for litter box training, although it would be a good idea to put her into one when you think she needs to poop. Make sure it has low sides and doesn't have clumping litter.

   Do you have other cats? If so, one of them may be willing to 'mother' the little one. They won't be able to feed her, but they can teach her some of the kitty skills she'll need.

   When will she have her first vet appointment? There are more people on in the mornings so you will get more help then. When can we see her picture?

   I have two four week old kittens. they are just now learing to pee in the litter box but i still have to stimulate them to poop. ive noticed that alot of hand reared kittens progress differently i.e. mine are using the litter box but will not eat anyting but milk from the bottle. so just keep introducing her to the litter box and even stimulate hr while shes in it and help hr cover it up to teach good litter box habits.

   Thank you, This place seems nice and active. :)

   By diluting, do you mean put more water in it or less? I do not have any other cats, so I am the one who has to teach her. But she seems to be a clever one - I put her in her litter box this morning after she woke me up brutally early and she played around for a bit and peed on her own! No poopers on her own yet though, But when I rub her she goes as usual.

   She also eats milk from the bottle or from a plate - she likes whichever as long as she gets her milk.
   I am wondering if I am feeding her the right amount though... On the powdercan it says 2 tablespoons of liquid per 4 ounces and she weighs 12,64 ounces so I give her, split into 4 or more feedings, 6 tablespoons of the mixed milk replacement - which is around 100 ml.

   Does that sound like enough?

   I have taken lots of pictures of her and I will upload them as soon as I can.
