  1. i have been consulting dr mollycat about my recent health problems. i have been sick about a month .. the doctor finally checked my blood for cancer this am.. i may have ulcerative colitis or colon cancer.. hopefully the former and not the latter... i have been very sick with inestinal problems this past month and hopefuly will have a sigmoidscopy in the next little while....i think it's the ulcerative colitis... i should be able to see my tumor marker results soon , so i will know... they haven't done the sigmoidscopy yet because i cannot get into the gastro doc because i am under 50 years old... so the insurance company has to build a case to get me in there to have the test...... keep me in your prayers...i'm sure everything will be allright.. i have a feeling it's not cancer... it's in the Lord's hands...

  3. Beth, Please read Jordan Rubin's book... "the Maker's Diet".... it changed my life after an allergic to an antibotic gave me colitis....... it's been 5 years, and I have totally "restored" my system!......

  4. I can't begin to tell you how I relate to how you feel now. I was 21 at the time. They decided to do a colonoscopy and removed the growth to test. I am alive today because of what the doctor did. I am very thankful they are doing what they must for the insurance end. Please take care. Prayers of peace and courage.

  16. Beth I'm praying for you to learn this is not serious. I know what it's like to worry over something like this. Not having answers to the truth is almost more debilitating than the condition itself. I have no ins. or money for dr. and have been turned down at first request for the Oregon Health Plan (public health aid) and yet after two trips to er since June with two rounds of antibiotics I'm not healed. Some testing was done but after inquiring online (blood in urine) I know there are more that need to be done. Please keep us posted and I will continue praying for you that this is not cancer. I still have to wonder what good health ins. is if they have to argue for a patient when the going gets tough regardless of how much is paid into the co. prior to the need. Seems like a person can't win either way. =(

  24. Beth, I am keeping my fingers crossed for a good outcome for you. My boss, who I have worked with/for for nearly 20 years was just diagnosed with colon cancer last week, so the issue is at the forefront of my mind right now. I'd hate to have another person I know be diagnosed with it also.
