Okay TDK I normally never ask for help or prayers! Normally I ask you keep one of my babies in your thoughts at a cruical time. Well today I am not aking for them. I am asking for a very good friend.
My Friend Eric who I meet through my brother 7 or 8 years ago when they moved from new Jersey back here to Cali and into San Fran. Well I friend Eric has become more like a brother in all senses and the truth is he and my brother were partners for 8 years prior to coming to cali where the decided friendship was where they should go. Well they have stayed best friends and roomies on and off for the last 8 years or so here in cali. And I jsut got a call today from my Brother telling me he is in the hospital in the ICU with a fever of 102 which he has been having on and off now for a week.
He went in to have a hour surgery to remove calcium build up around scar tissue that has been affecting him and has had him going in for dialsys more frequently. The 1 hour surgery turne dinto 8 and during that time they lost him twice and revived him. He is currently on a venilator and any time they take him off he can't breathe on his own. He has a poor immune system to begin with then add all this and his body is stuttering trying to maintain it's self.
Eric is barely into his 40 and has much more to do and see. Plus I am stubborn and refuse to not have him around he owes me a trip to Disneyland. We have been talking about it and trying to work finances to go in two summers, him me, my bro and some other friends and family. I love him like a bro and truthfully he'd make me a wonderful roommate hehe if I could afford to move out though San fran is not where I'd want to live. Plus he is a terrific cook and loves cats and dogs, he currently gets his kitty fix with my brothers male Alberto.
So can you please take the time to ask for his fear to recede, his body to mend, his lungs to take over and for his body to mend and for him to get better soon.
