  1. My kitten, Sam, whom many may remember as my "wall kitten" is now a 2 month old terror. While he does have the company, and loving affection of my six yr old male tabby Sam still finds a way into everything, and will sink claws, teach and just nearly destroy everything.

One minute he will be laying on the couch, the next he will be clawing at me, or something around the apartment. I have to lock him out of the bathroom to save the bath tissue and shower curtain and my bedroom must be off limits unless I am in there as my counters will wind up his next victim. What do I do to curb this and if it is nothing I can do how long will it go on?

Is it that he hasn't been fixed yet? Is this a lack of attention on my part?

  2. Ken, welcome to TDK :) No, it is because he is a kitten and on top of that a 2 month old kitten = toddler for humans. Is your six yr old male tabby playful and has lots of energy, otherwise you might want to consider another kitten about the same age as Sam whom then can tire each other out. I have a 6 yr old kit who still attacks my bath tissue, newspapers, books, etc. so I just have to make adjustments for it.
