Welcome and Happy Friday! The kittehs are pooped from a long hot week. Today they are taking short orders, order whatever your heart desires. Hot coffee/tea/cocoa, juices, soda, water and milk available. I am having some cheesey hashbrowns smothered in ketchup with pepper sprinkled on and some milk. Today is the final work day of the week-hooray! It has been a tough week here at the TDK corral! Relax, we are almost there!

Happy Friday to MC and Siobhan! Can I have some black coffee and o.j. this morning? I hope your day goes well! I am back to priming and painting window frames....yuk. MC, I hope you get good test results! Sio, yup, vacations are 'tiring' and sometimes it is worse going back to work after them! :))

Morning, all! Joan, I'm glad you're feeling a little better (at least you were on the NS last night). I totally hear you about the job thing. I'm debating whether to go sit in a completely pointless meeting for an hour. If I disappear in the next couple of minutes you'll know I decided to go.
Still no real idea what Mike & I are doing with my time off; I really did want to get away, but it looks like that's not happening :(

Just let me grab a quick orange juice this morning. I was at our state fair all day yesterday. (I do volunteer work there...great way to get to know the fair.)

What's your favorite "county fair" food? I have two...vinegar and salt french fries, and cotton candy :-)
I had a major league snugglebud last night (Hermes). Lots of drooling and pushing his head into my hand for pets and eye rubs. Even a couple of vocal protests when I stopped :-)

Ooh, fried dough w/ powdered sugar and cinnamon (is that the same as a funnel cake? Similar anyway).
Oh, and I should report, my head is being much less evil today. It's not perfect, but yesterday was really bad, so this is an improvement. I couldn't begin to guess *why*, but I'll take it.

Hi everyone! OMG..it's chaos here today..I don't know why..I have so much to do and it's already 10am! I know that is still early but I have to get to Target today and I am constricted by feedings and naps...laundry, dishes, etc...I feel overwhelmed today..

Mmmmm...the County Fair. Ours was just last week, but I didn't go--I don't do long walking distances very well. But when I used to go, I loved the french fries (without the vinegar, though) and Lemon Shake-ups. They are just lemonade, but they taste so much better at the Fair!! My hairdresser's kids had their pigs at the Fair, and they both placed (in different categories) in the top 5 out of almost 400 pigs!! Yay Kyle and Kaylah!!
