  1. Well dropped her off at 8am! Was told to call in at 2 to check on her and so long as everyhting looks good I can pick her up tonight at 530. I am a nervous wreck to be sure missing my demanding baby girl and her loud shrewish meows heheh of let me out of here heheh wether it be the playpen or the bedroom.

Max was waiting for me when I got home and was like hey that's a bag where's Mystie at! Even he seems to be wondering where the loud pouncy Mystie is and he keeps going into the bedroom trilling! Think he's expecting her to be in there and answer him. Which is usually the case!

I have until 930 then Max goes in for his yearly check up and shots!

  4. Awwww...I know you're worried about your little girl Ange..and I think it's so sweet that Max was searching for her. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he smells his little sister's scent somewhere in the air there in the vet's office during his visit. Hope Max's checkup goes purrfectly! =D
    LOL at PJ!! Meanie,Meanie,Meanie!!!!

  6. Yup home his went smooth and perfectly! He is now only 14 pounds and 14 ounces. Had I not shaved him hahaha he'd probably be 15 pounds!
He was quite a specitical and everyone was a mazed by his large size and he was doing his stretch to the top of counters to sniff out the dog cookies. So as of now he is good and set for another year.

Mystie went in for surgery at 1145 is what Dr. G told me. She actually schedyled her on a day she was not scheudled for surgery but she is actually taking the time and actually will do the surgry for her so i feel better now knowing she is in Dr. G's hands!

  7. Awwww..I can believe that Max could cause quite a stir in the vet's office. He's such a beautiful boy and getting soooo big! Glad his checkup went so well. I still remember his little boy days with all the worry we had over his health. So glad that's behind us and that he's a strong and healthy boy today. Also glad Mystie is in the capable hands of Dr. G too. She'll probably come home feeling sleepy this afternoon. I bet you're already watching the clock Ange..waiting til you can jump in the car and go get her! Hahaha..don't blame you. She's a little Angel for sure. =)

  8. Max will not like her smell when she comes home--he will spit at her. Be prepared, don't get upset.

  9. Good that Max's health check up came back stellar! I am sure all will go well with Mystie's surgery but I can understand your concern and apprehension. Sending prayers and hugs.

  10. Thanks everyone! And Sheba's Mom I am prepared for that. And my room has shrunk yet again. The large soft crate is now at the foot of my bed. Since she is not supposed jump, climb or scale anything, I have decided it is best to put her in the soft crate she was in for Summer. It's all vaccummed and clenaed out, the chillow pad has been wiped down, food, water and a blanket and fleece bed inverted has been put inside along with her potty box. EVerything she will need. The playpen has 3 shelfs she jumps and climbs up to so that's why I decided to go this route.

I got a call around 1 tellign she was out of surgery and awake and doing very well. They also told me I can pick her up at 5pm. So now I have finished lunch, a movie and the soft crate I have time to kill! I have an hour and 51 minutes to go~! Big SIGH!

  14. Ange...How come you haven't left yet?? Is the vet that close to you?

Posted 2 years ago by Karenopa #

  15. Hahah Karen the vet is less then 15 minutes away! I take all the backroads versus the main ones to get there max amount of time I would need is 20 if that. Have made it there in 10 too ehhehe! I will be living in about 10 minutes. Since she wont be ready until 5pm to leave plus it will take a few minutes to get her settled to go which during that time i will pay gor her and max at the same time!

  16. Thank goodness it's almost time to go. I just know she's wondering where meowmy is and I bet Max won't have a problem with her smelling all 'vetty' since he had to go in today too. =)

  17. Yeah missed my baby girl big time!

I got her and she is home now wearing max's old e collar. She is still a little loopy! And the tummy ouchy! I am sure the size is normal but I still feel bad for her. She has 3 doses of Pain meds to give starting tomorrow! E collar for 10 days and the surcheres (sp?) will absorb so wont need to take her back to ahve them removed!

  20. She will be just fine Ange..I promise you. She's one tough little girl and they really do heal quickly at that age. What a relief that the deed is done, eh? Give your little loopy one a hug for me..hmmm..with the e collar that might be hard. Better just give her some chin scritches instead. =)
