Where were you during Woodstock?

  1. I was 12 that year and going into the 6th grade. The following year I met Richard and my taste in music changed from country to rock n roll as a result. I have been to many concerts since then but the first one was David Bowie during his "Diamond Dogs" days - I believe I was near 16 at the time - if my mother had seen or heard anything about his shows I never would have been allowed to go!

  2. I was twelve, and about to enter seventh grade. I was a bit too young to have much of an opinion on Woodstock (blushes). Then again, I grew up with records of Broadway musicals, Frank Sinatra, Ferrante & Teicher, and Mitch Miller :-)

    My mom was a music vocal performance major in college, and rock-n-roll wasn't something she chose to listen to.

  3. Thanks for the new trivia Dee: The Honeymoooners & Fred Flinstone plus Arcalian: The Radar Range...I didn't know that term & I was 19 in 1973! Ha Ha...oldie but goodie! Woodstock music...hmmm I do know now that Dylan is planning on releasing a Christmas "album" this year...boy he is old too!

  4. My parents hadn't been married quite a year yet, and I wouldn't show up until May 1972. (Much to the surprise of the town biddies, who just KNEW my mom was only marrying my dad b/c she was knocked up :P)
