Was wondering who's pets are on hollistic diet and if you like an what do you feel about it. I put the kittens on innova cat and kitten food and they love and there is no by products, gluten, or grains. I just want to know who's had possitive experiances or negative? I found this new hollistic pet store and love the people who work there they are so knowledgable and they even sell raw rabbit meat for pets!! Crazy! They said rabbit it awesome for cats.

Yes holistic foods are for sure worth it. I use both Nature's Variety and Wellness CORE which are grain free. I also use natural balance and kirkland which have grains but are still corn, wheat, soy, gluten, and by-product free.
raw meat is very good for cats! its the bulk of my cats diet, but i prepare it myself making it much cheaper. it is better than any brand of cat food, and cats have lived hundreds of years eating raw meat. when cats were domesticated their natural diet went a way, and feeding raw meat is the way to give it back to them.
personally the differances i have seen with feeding raw are:
lots more energy
shinier coats
more muscle, less fat
clean teeth
less poo
and all around better healthi know lots of people don't feed raw because it takes longer, so if it is not for you that is just fine :) however i would say feed as much wet food as possible, with dry as treats (dry actually doesn't clean teeth).
Grainfree's also make cats produce less waste because more of the food is used. Cats are carnivores ;) which is what you have to remember when looking at ingrediant lists in cat food.
