  1. He or she is about 2 weeks
    The mom left her and took his or her brothers and sisters
    the baby is really sweet and loves to play with my sisters
    I have to get up every 2 hours and take care of it
    I love this little kitten and please keep the baby in your
    prayers cuz she is not pooping just yet I have had the baby for about
    2 days

  2. Hi Stephy,she is quite young,do you have some source of warmth like a heat pad in her box also what are you feeding her? The powdered KMR although quite good for them can be constipating. Do you know how to stimulate her to move her bowels? Sorry for so many questions but I don't know what you know. Please don't be offended and welcome to TDK. :)

  3. I'm feedin her the KMR powdered
    I use a cotton swab but she has not gone
    yet. I thought I might not be feeding her enough

  4. Hmm...she should be pooping by now I would think. One thing you might try to do is help her to poop by taking a warm damp cloth and rubbing it gently on her butt, the mother cat usually licks the baby to get them to go but since the mother isn't around you will probably need to do it for her. Good luck with her, hope all goes well. :)

  6. It can take a lot of stimulation to get them to go, but I can understand your concern about hurting the baby. Re-watch the video and see how much stimulation the vet used on Brutus. Increase the water in the kmr and if you get no results take the kitten to the vet.

  8. I would say maybe an extra 50-75% water mixed into the KMR, might want to also add a tiny bit of Karo syrup as well. Just a tiny bit mind you, maybe a teaspoon worth for every 16-32 oz. of formula.
