I'm a little uncomfortable asking, but I know just how powerful TDK prayers can be. As some of you may remember, I've been having an issue w/leg pain for quite a while. Then, on top of all of those doctor appts. in which no actual diagnosis that made sense was made, my blood pressure was through the roof. During the blood pressure appt., I kept mentioning how sore my arms were and it was chalked up to my blood pressure being so high. Well, my arms are still sore and my other leg is beginning to give me problems, too. So, yesterday my doctor took a ton of blood for extensive testing and I go next week for a MRI of my brain. She mentioned rhuematoid arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, and is leaning more toward MS. A lot of my symptoms do sound like MS. I've known since April that 'something just ain't right', and it is so frustrating not knowing what's going on. I can handle whatever 'it' might be, but I just want some concrete answers. I'm a little scared of what is ahead (ok, I'm PMSing today and it's more like petrified) and I go back to school on Monday worse, health wise, than when I left in May. Tonight, it's a pity-party with a six-pack and then I'll just have to deal with everything as it comes. . .
No matter what the results, please pray that SOME diagnosis can be made--I'd really appreciate it!

Wow FH...Big time Prayers coming your way that they diagnos the problem once & for all. I have one neighbor that has lupus & seems to be just fine w/the right remedies. And another neighbor that suffers from fibromyalgia. The fibro seems to cause her some faint,but constant pain(hers started after a car accident). I myself know how debilitationg arthritis can be since mine started about a year ago. As for MS...I only know what I've read from other TDKers here about it.
I do hope they come up with a less serious diagnosis than any of the above possibilities. All my ferals are sending their best head bonks & kitty purrs they can that you get better soon. Lots of Healing White Light from me.{{{HUGS}}}

FH I can see how this would all be creating fear and panic, especially with returning to school Monday and feeling worse than before summer. I'm so sorry but glad that you have a dr. who cares and is doing all the things it will take to get to the bottom of this. Be brave and keep faith knowing that many people are standing with you and sending you love and prayers. Sending you prayers and healing TDK light for answers and courage. ((((FH)))))

FH, you will most certainly be in my prayers. I know that you are feeling low and are probably more than a little frightened. But the unknown is worse. Once a diagnosis has been made, then you can begin moving towards a treatment and recovery.
There are a lot of symptoms that can mimic MS, so try not to over think yourself before tests are run. And if it is MS, the treatment modalities have come so far in these last years.
Right now, you just need to know what is wrong. It's hard to fight a battle when you can't see the enemy.

Dear FH....... What WWM said about "It's hard to fight a battle when you can't see the enemy"......... I know you have been "battling" some issues recently. On the blood pressure elevations "through the roof"....just a suggestion....... purchase a blood pressure monitor.... the arm cuff kind. Monitor your bp daily in a "kind" environment, your home. I bet you will see that it is considerably lower than in the Dr. office. I hope some diagnosis is forthwith very soon. Until then.......pity- party your socks off!!!! I would!!!!

12P--I did buy a bp monitor in June and medication has helped tremendously in my readings. I just thought my achy, tired arms would quit hurting once my bp was under control. I even dread washing my hair because my arms ache so much.
I'm trying to be positive--again, I can handle whatever 'it' is--although I just want any kind of real diagnosis at this time. Thanks again, guys!
BTW--I just got off of the phone with my sister, 'Officer Cindy' (she has a new job at a police dept.) and the stories she told me has me crying w/laughter--the best medicine ever! :)
