   Here are pictures of Auntie Ellen's kitten. She's named her Abby and has had her around for about a month. Her daughter, husband and I are so close to talking he into letting Abby move in! (So far she's living in the garage).

   Check out the color of her eyes - I've never seen that color eyes in a cat.

   They're kind of a dark amber color. She's such a purring machine and very cuddly.
   She was around this morning when we started the garage sale, but she was getting too close to the road and we ended up moving her onto the back patio with her new kitty condo and round mousie toy - you can see it in one of the pictures.

   MS, I think as soon as she figures out how to use the litterbox, she's in. I told Auntie Ellen how Ange recommended putting dirt in the litterbox instead of litter. She's going to try it and I'm crossing my fingers.

   Her husband's in love with Abby. We weere in the back playing with her and taking pictures and he came to have his picture taken. He told me she's his cat because he's the one who found her :)

    Abby is so little, and so sweet! I'm so happy she has found a home with your friends. I'd say Ellen's hubby and daughter are really smitten with her! She's a very lucky kitty to have found such a nice home. =)

    It is, indeed, Karen! Ellen had told me that he's been lobbying to keep her - now that I've met her, I can see why!

    Well, Jcat, she still insists Abby looks weird! She likes her, too, though, I can tell. I think I succeeded in pushing her in the right direction over the last few days - hey she left my house with all kinds of cat toys! :)

    She reminds me of a short-haired version of my sweetie-pie, Bailey!! If Abby has even half of the purrsonality of my sweetie-pie (she always has to be touching me w/at least one paw and licks me constantly), she will be such a joy for Ellen. It already looks like she's wormed her way into their lives!:)

    Thanks, all! I'm glad Abby found Ellen. I'm been trying to talk her into adopting another cat since her Sammy passed away 6 months ago. Sammy was the last of three cats she had and she was pretty adamant she didn't want another cat. Said she'd become a dog person after adopting her Rocky 5 years ago. I say, being a dog-person, doesn't mean you can't be a cat-person, too!

    About Abby's eyes, George's eyes are that color too, if the photos are accurate. I think it's gorgeous.
