and it is sinking in that she is truly gone. I miss my precious Mamma Brat. Even though I know she is alive and well at the Bridge, my heart feels like it has been ripped in half.

Anthony here, mama kitty gave us SO much just by being herself - my biggest hope is that I gave her as much joy and comfort as what she gave to me.

{{{hugs}}} to you both. Mama Kitty knows you loved her. She wouldn't have picked you or stayed with you if she hadn't. :) Saying prayers that your pain will lesson with time, but that your memories of this wonderful cat stay clear and strong until you meet again.

((OW and Anthony)) Again hugs to you both. It is hard to lose one of our fur-kids. It does feel like your heart is ripped apart and turned inside out. Know she is well and looking down on you now. She doesn't want you to be sad but to remember the wonderful times you had together.

I am so sorry that you lost your beloved Mama Kitty but I'm glad you were there with her in her final moments. I've been following all the Mama Kitty threads and keeping vigil too, just as all all the kitties I've lost stood, poised at the Bridge, waiting for her arrival. I know it doesn't feel like it now, but in time the pain will fade and the happy times will be what you remember the most. Hugs and prayers for Owlwatcher, Anthony and their furbabies.

You are fortunate enough to love and be loved, and so to know the pain of loss, but it is a measure of the joy you had in Mamma's existence. Know that she is in the Elysian Fields, playing with all the other kitties who are waiting for their persons to join them. Joy will come again. KPMom.

Thank you all. I am sort of on autopilot right now. Shiva is bugging me to feed her... thank God for my baby Shiva ..she is helping me more than I can say.
