Lynn, I received your card yesterday. Thank you so much. It brought a smile to my face on an otherwise dreary day. I've been feeling blue lately and that cute card just lifted my spirits.
(and yes i do get many comments on my name ;)

I'll be honest with you, MerD (ya happen to catch me in one of those moods)--here goes: I wouldn't be the least bit upset or offended, but I wouldn't do business with someone who did include their business card. Maybe it's just me, but that's just my opinion.

I haven't sent out cards in about 20 years. I'm blaming Ange for making me send cards and I'm blaming Lynn and the rest of you for encouraging her. TDKers are the best. Luv u all!!!!!!!!!!! ((((((((((HUGS))))))))))

Teresa, isn't it fun though sending them out....I usually send mine by the 3rd week of December, this year I was excited about sending them out.

Lynn- got your card yesterday, the first Christmas card. You even beat an overly organised friend of mine to the draw. Excited! I took the mail out of the letter box and went bill, bill, EEEkkkk a TDK card Yippee, big stupid smile on my face. What a pleasure it is to receive.

I received your card today Lynn...it's adorable and very thoughtful of you..It truly made my day! I'm sending e-cards this year due to cost and of course I'm trying to be more..Green...It can't hold a candle to actually having the cards though to set upon the mantle or hang on the wall near the tree.. :D Thanks again Lynn,Kay, Lucky and Lady!

Talking about meeting in Spain, and various meetings @lunches--when I started emailing lots of people on the polio list, it was so great to find others who knew what I meant when I'd talk about pain, fatigue, anger at having to fight the battle all over again, etc. Then when I graduated with my Masters in Counseling, 8 gals came up for the graduation! From all over the country and Canada--and we had never met in person-just over the internet for 3 years! It was sooo much fun, and we all felt like we had known each other for ages. It was pretty funny too-there was a whole section of the audience that was in wheelchairs, crutches, scooters, etc.--and when I went on stage to get the diploma they cheered and blew a fog horn! Wild-and so much fun! Enjoy, all of you who get to meet--you will have a blast, and make memories you will never forget!

I, too, am getting all excited about sending out Christmas cards this year. I've been doing some preparations and have been having a great time. I'm sending them probably on Tuesday. I hope you'll all like them.

Hmmmm, card update - got all of them addressed - and finished two! Arrrgh! Was hoping Boss would be out of the office today so I could write some more - well, may do it anyway!
