    Yay! This will help keep people from abandoning their pets in hard times. I hope they make it so you don't have to itemize to use it.

  2. Very interesting and hopeful SM!! Thanks for posting this. I believe this bill could go along way with many issues. It could be required that in order to list your pet as a deduction you must have them licensed and they must be spay/neutered as well. I believe this would be a huge insentive for irresponsible pet owners to no longer contribute to over population.
