Got some of my test results back. It appears the mass in my neck is just that, a hard mass. I asked what they were gonna do about it and they said as long as I can swallow, breathe and talk-nothing. I go back in three months to have it reassessed to see if it has grown or changed. I have never brought this up before but I also have a mass in my left lung. They said it is the same type of mass that is in my lung. Ok, medical TDK'ers why would I be randomly sprouting up "masses" in different parts of my body for no reason? I asked them and they said "cause that's your body". Wow, that was profound. They just look at my mass in my lung every six months and it hasn't grown in three years so that makes me happy. But I guess I am somewhat disturbed about things just "growing" in my body. As for my head. It still hurts from my sister slapping me on the head on Sunday. My neck has been killing me and it has been more difficult to hold up my head as a result. I go back to the Neurosurgeon's office on the 31st to have the pseudomeningiocele size compared to what it was recently. Thanks again for your understanding, prayers and kind words! Miracle Kid! Hey there Miracle Kid! That is odd isn't it? But at least it isn't anything you need to immediately worry about. I'm sorry your head's hurting (must have missed that thread!), and can certainly sympathise on the neck thing. Bit of a case of "jack up the nose and roll a new body in underneath" eh?

So I guess you don't have to worry until you can't swallow, breathe, or talk. How unfortunate you could not get more definitive answers. But maybe you have stumped the band!!! Hang in there.......you have lots of support!!

MC, I really would have no explanation for those two masses that would be anything more than a guess. You might ask if a needle biopsy would be warranted on the mass in your neck. That way they would be able to have pathology take a look at it down to the cellular level. If it were me, I would ask to have that done. Not so easy on the mass in the lung, but the one in the neck might give some answers.
