As I went to pick Mr MS up from work at sparrow fart this morning I passed someones Tortie on the road. It had gone over the Bridge. as it was still dark and raining and in a dodgy area I left it until the return trip and Mr MS moved the puss onto the grass at the side of the road. Left me feeling very sad.
Then this afternoon I received a pxt from the future SIL of what he had just bought Meegz for her birthday in a few weeks. What a big romantic he is, he made my day brighter.Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Spectacular light show outside: storm to the southeast moving southeast. Cloud to cloud lightning and lots of flashes. No rain & no thunder. Everywhere else in the sky is filled with stars. Beautiful night!

MS, that is sad. I saw an all black cat on the busy highway today that was hit by a car, brought tears to my eyes. I prayed it passed to the bridge quickly and had no pain. Joan you are getting our storms from yesterday and Sunday. They can get pretty wicked. I am off to bed myself, need toothpicks to hold my eyelids open. Night all, sleep tight. Sweet dreams to Joan, cheri and MC. AV, I am not feeling part of the group whatsoever and after overhearing what some people had already made plans, I didn't feel up to saying oh that sounds like fun and hope they invite me. I don't work that way. I see most of these people once a year and the rest I don't interact with. The admin I sometimes work with doesn't even include me. After the comment made to me by jerk coworker while in HR meeting of that people say oh no here comes (me) and then the behavior of these coworkers being so cliquesh makes feel an outsider. So instead I go to my room feeling unwanted.
I really just want to be home with my cats.

Night Ange. Was just a thought, redheads are sensitive to lots of things, you should see what an ordinary band aid can do to my family, hypo-allergenic ones are worse. Hope Mystie's problem is easily solvable. Gone to get Mr MS off on his night shift.

Karin I am sorry you are being rudely left out and yes work can be cliquish you'd think we'd out grow it once we get out of High School. As for me I prefer solidute hell I'd go out for dinner and catch a movie by myself and have more fun then being with jerk coworkers. See some people think work is a social party and not work. Well Work can be both but should always be work first or as I say your there to do your job not waste time picking you butt or nose.
I also hope she will be fine. I am more then likely jsut over worrying and it's her activiness that is causign it but I'd rather be safe then sorry. Okay now I need to go to bed hehe need to be up by 6 am tomorrow shower and get everythign ready so I can stop in at opening time and have them take a look. They will probably be thinkign I am a pain in the batootie and overly worrying but I want her up to snuff as soon as possible so i can let her out of that crate. I feel liek a jailer keeping her in there all the time but for a few hours of cuddle time. Meanie Ange! I'd rather be a worry wart then sorry I just let it go and it becomes serious.

Evening one and all on this very warm night filled with stars in the sky. Haven't been outside all day except to come home from w**k this morning, head feels like it is stuffed with about 10 miles of cotton....not supposed to be this way on my days off :( My mom was sent home from the rehab facility because the insurance said they couldn't do anymore for her, so now my Dad and brothers are trying to care for her and all of them are depressed right now. IF any wishes and good thoughts can be sent their way it would be appreciated.
SMM, so sorry to hear that the workplace clique(s) are still prevailing. I don't and probably never will be part of them, I have problems with playing 'reindeer games' so to speak and can't play along with them.
M2MC, hope that Msytie's incision is just irritated and not anything more serious.

It's been 5 hours since the last post so I'm guessing most people are tucked up in their beds(US) or out at work(UK). I'm heading off to bed now to curl up with my trusty hot water bottle.
It's 11.05pm NZ time, ...the night is chilly in NZ and cool to d**n hot in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<
