Hubby and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary today! The agency kitties have put together a re-creation of the reception. It's family-style, just like at the VFW back in '89 - so have a seat at one of the big round tables with someone you know or someone you don't know and get to know them! There is a wide variety of food and drink at each table so pick your fancy and pass it around, it's on us. Agency kitties will fulfill any special requests. There are favors for all. They are heart-shaped wax bases with a votive candle and a sprig of Lily of the Valley flowers on it. Enjoy!

Happy Anniversary Joan and Hubby!!!! Awww that's wonderful. If you look really closely, you can see Jiggs and Shaddo with Joan today.
Hello to everyone!!
I am Maddie-less this morning since she slept over grandma's last night. Makes for a relaxing morning :) Abbie has been fed and is playing on the floor. That girl is trying to crawl and stand at the same time. Scary!Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

Jcat, you snuck in while I was typing. I'm fine tonight, just about to turn the puter off for the night and head to bed. It's colder tonight and has been snowing on the Desert Rd. I had a fire tonight, guess where HRH is. In her basket right in front of the fire.
Time for me to go, I can hear my hot water bottle calling me. Goodnight all, have a wonderful 20th Anniversary Cafe.
Joan, have a wonderful day and once again Happy Anniversary.Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Snowing! eek! It's been frosty but sunny here but now you come to mention it, it has been colder... Nighty-night, MS, sweet dreams, did you see the anti-ant tips last night about bay leaves?
Hi, CM and AV. Wow, CM, sounds like little Abbie's going to be as much of a livewire as her big sis. Hope you got the chance for a good night's sleep with Maddie having fun over at Grandma's!
AV, is Cuddles totally mellowed out yet? :)

Hey - thanks for celebrating with us! Hubby has something to do so depending on when he gets home we may go out to dinner. If it gets late, we will order take-out and go out tomorrow or Friday night to a place we have a gift cert for. :)
Nowadays weddings are usually at a fancy-schmancy place, but back then it was wherever one could afford. The ladies auxiliary decorated the place and it looked great. They also did all the cocktail hour foods. It was a really fun time and went by so fast!Posted 2 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

I am having a practise pack this weekend, so I then have a week to reduce from 5 suitcases to 1 (joke, but only just!!)

Abbie is (almost) ready to bolt! She is anxious to crawl/walk to keep up with Maddie! That will be a troublesome twosome! LOL Hi AV, SOM and all others who came on. MS, good nite!

Was it on the morning caff or on the NS, I think it was on the morning shift just after you went to sleep, MS, several people swore by them -- including CM!
Whoo, MCW, we will watch with bated breath from down under for the news stories -- try not to stir up the States too much!
-
I hear ya MCW. I cannot pack too early or I bring everything!!! I do best packing the stuff the day before. Have a wonderful time in the states!

I'm just waiting to get detained by customs and queried over my luggage..."1000 Cadbury chocolate bars madam?????" and then having to try and explain TDK to them...!!!
Posted 2 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

(that was an exaggeration - I'm bringing some Cadburys, but not 1000 bars!! - don't get too excited!)
