August 26th is Betty and Wilma's fourth birthday and they would like to have a party with the furr-einds! They are having a skate party/volleyball/swimming/bbq for their birthday and "end of summer"! They would love all their kitty furr-einds to join them. Its an all day party so kittehs can come any time they would like!

My girls would love to come! They don't skate (a little hard on the old joints) and volleyball is questionable, but they love to watch the youngsters have fun. Nora was particularly interested in the word BBQ (since Mama has not been giving her as much food as she used to).

Lady Coco and Sophie Dorothea will come. Sophie has never been to a kitteh party, but she's sure she'll like it. Volleyball sounds especially exciting as she is a terrific jumper (straight up over three feet), and she assures me no balls will go out over the back line with her on the court. Lady Coco will be happy with a shady place to sit and sip nip tea and watch the young ones.

Abby and Cuddles look "wistfully" at Momma..... "is there a worm hole up here in the mountains?.. we just CAN'T" miss the party....... *they snif*....
.... Momma laughs and kisses each girl.... of course, I brought the "travel worm hole"....... you may both go, so get busy writing your RSVPs.......
...tomorrow we'll go in to town, and see what cute "mountain" gifts we can find for the girls, and maybe a couple of new dresses for you two, since you've BOTH been so good on the trip.....
.... the girls clap and skip around, well Abby does anyway.... Cuddles just claps!.......

you know lydia will be there !! she wants to know if she can come early to help set up !! she will bring fixins for nip smores... i guess she and betty and wilma were discussing the party yesterday while they were horse back riding.... i'm glad it's on a day i'm off work .. i can make she has all the gifts and her swimsuit..ectra,,,,

Tux and Ginger would be so glad to join Betty and Wilma to celebrate their birthday! If it's ok with you, they would also like to bring their new little "cousin" Lissa with them! She just got spayed last week but she should be ready for a party by next Wednesday....she's only 5 months old and brand new to the household - she'd love to meet some new kitty friends!

Jetta would LOVE to come! She is very shy and being an older, distinguished kind of lady preferes a quieter room to observe the young-un's however, she would not be adverse to maybe a little celebratory nip! She may even do one or two zips around the room before settling down to enjoy some cake!

i'm sure Jetta and Velvet will have a lot in common. Velvet likes to observe from a comfy cahir, stool, sofa, or bed...
Velvet is a diva, but a nice one. she get just about anything she asks for...

Jetta will be there, as long as it's okay to send her through the wormhole early, since I leave for work so early. She is still frightened of it, though she's been looking at it since the roller rink party! She can't wait to see her new lady friends and watch the young ones play and party! You do have a comfy couch she can nap on? smile

Nora says that she would love to meet Jetta. She also likes to observe rather than participate (she would also like to hang out around the food table for awhile). Will Cuddles be there? The older girls could all hang out together. Gem and Nibs don't skate anymore either. Watch out for Nibs though, this morning I actually caught her trying to get Gem to play by doing that sideways-hopping thing that kittens do. Very cute. Gem looked at her like she was nuts. Oh well.
