I think that school has started in NM. Hopefully that's the only reason why we haven't seen SM.

No, CM, I don't think so, I think (and hope) she's just busy with the new school year, but if she pops in for a read, I would like her to know we're thinking of her!

Sorry it has been a bit chaotic! I have 4 Masters classes this semester so I can graduate in August 2010 before daughter starts her classes. I am swamped under in a big way. In one class I have to present Monday and it is 40% of my grade. I have 6 presentations and a massive research paper in another class. And on top of that I have a research writing class that I here might send me over the edge. The professor--my advisor--heard others say the class was easy. She has made appropriate adjustments. I also have an online class. I have 3 more sections to finish there to catch up this weekend.

I have my Mock Trial group starting on the 9th. I am one of the leaders of the Chain Link club for Rachel's Challenge. We have implemented a BUNCH of new things this year--so what is new. The work is outragous. I am the group leader of our goal team. My dossier is due in February and I haven't started it--don't even know what it is!

My stepdad had surgery today. It was part of the heart surgery they are trying to complete. He now has to be off meds 7 days before surgery. He is in as good of shape as possible. Worried about Mom--she sounds okay, but I know she is really hurting.

I am so very tired. I want to catch up and don't even know where to begin. I know I won't be on long. I really want to sleep. Daughter had People to People meeting last night. It is a 2 hour drive there and then another 2 hours back. I only got about 3 hours sleep last night. By the way she is on her way to Australia this summer--watch out Great Barrier Reef!

Good luck with all the school-related stuff. I'll say a prayer for your step-dad that he recovers fully and quickly from his surgery.

Thank you KW. Sherlock is having surgery as soon as the specialist can fit him in. He has a dislocation issue and they are going to attach the knee to the bone.

How many days to Sept. 11??

Lots of new people have started posting on TDK, SM. It's a little harder to keep up on the threads, but welcome additions. Lainey had a health scare but got good news today. MC's solid mass in her neck was seen as not requiring any medical intervention. Leeny checked in in the last day or two about her situation. Susie's Ms. Hissy went MIA but has been spotted today. Susie thinks she's been hurt by a raccoon, but is glad she is still alive. What else......?
