Mine was very busy at work! It poured rain with thunder and lightning and messed up the systems for a little bit. Oh fun..... They came back up after a few minutes though.
Came home and the 4 cats got catnip. :) Oliver whines at the bedroom door when he wants some. He even attacks the other cats when they come over to sniff. Possessive thing he is! -

Hi all - was just reading back-threads (we must invent a name for that!) and discoved the bay leaf ant repellant comments. Well, I just tried the bay leaves on my hanging pumice ornament which is covered in ants - it hangs off an olive tree and the ants come through the fence, up the tree and then onto the pumice hanger. I inserted a bay leaf between two pieces of pumice and the ants fled!

Have you had that show Axemen on TV there? About the Oregon loggers - kind of like Deadliest Catch but with logs instead of crabs. I have been watching it lately and wondering if the guy who cut our tree earlier this year knows any of them as he was an Oregon logger.

Evening all and good night! i am wiped out! I was in San Fran today visiting with My second mom and my bro we had lunch and walked quite a few hills well up hill hahah. Then we went a visited Eric. he has made a teeny tiny pit of progress and to see him so helpless broke my heart and made we want to cry. had to hold it in though so as not to distress him. I am physically and emotionally drained. So I am gonna head off for the night and cathc you all tomorrow Night!

I have watched a few episodes, but not lately. Interesting that an Oregon logger ende up cutting trees in NZ. Small world! ;)

It's been 6 hours since the last post so I'm guessing most people are tucked up in their beds(US) or out at work(UK). I'm heading off to bed now to curl up with my trusty hot water bottle.
It's 11.05pm NZ time, ...the night is chilly in NZ and cool to d**n hot in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<

lol, peeking in the room and sees that I have been followed by my crew, my eyes are open so it must be 'feed me' time! They don't realize that their Mum forgot to bring in the 'food' last night when she came in, oops :) They will wither away to mere skeltons, yes skeltons I tell you......even with the 5 bowls of dry crunchies out on the floor....
