  1. Does anybody know a place to do that in Vegas? The place next to Circus Circus is closed down and they quit having it at the Stratosphere. I'd like to get in one last jump before I hang up my bungee shoes forever. It will be my 45th jump if I can find a place to do it.

  2. Wow Karen! You really ARE adventurous!! I don't have a clue where you can find bungee jumping providers in Vegas. Did you check the yellow pages? =)

  3. I did some checking, and there don't seem to be any others :(

    Sorry, HM

  5. Hope that this works for you, http://www.findmyadventure.com/bungee-jumping and they had a listing for a place in Vegas.

  6. OMG HM, you are a braver soul than I am.

  7. Deb, that one is the one that's closed now.

And I agree, CM, I could never do it (never mind that my head would probably explode). Stepdaughter the Younger bungee jumps, and skydives, and flys on trapezes, and is all around way braver than I am.

  8. I was looking at the Stratosphere and the Circus Circus and all that's gone away. I thought maybe somebody would know a place that maybe isn't on the internet (yeah, right - lol).

Well there's a thin line between bravery and foolishness. Thank God I don't know where the line is.

  9. Thin line? For me, it's a bridge cable.

  10. OMG, the Stratospere is gone now? I went to Vegas one time overnight (1997), I'm glad I saw it but it wasn't a big deal (to me anyway, I have friends who love to go there as often as they can). However...the one memory that really sticks is going to the Stratosphere to ride the Big Shot (rocket chairs) and High Roller (a roller coaster hooked to the top of the building). Being afraid of heights it was both scary and fun. Best thing about the whole experience, it was 11:30 PM and the view with all the lights was gorgeous. The other not so hot thing I remember is staying at the Palace Station which is somewhat "off" the strip. It later became famous when OJ Simpson was involved in a robbery of some sports memorabilia there, LOL.

  11. That's too cool, HM!!!!
I don't think I'd bungee jump. I've done sky-diving, though, and loved it!

  12. They use to have bungee jumping here in our park when the waterslides were still here. One time, after the Judds performed ,they decided to take the plunge. They had a blast! In fact, they jumped more than once!
