...yeah, both Cuddles and Abby love the open doors!... luckily for me, neither one has any desire to go (or even try to go) outside!.... I've posted before the story of Cuddles when we had her about a year or so, got out one day, and my big black cat (Buc) who was indoor/outdoor chased her out of the yard, and then patolled the parameter so she couldnt get back in.... finally after 3 frantic days, my neighbor called and said "do you know your white cat has been on my porch crying for 3 days?"..... ever since, she runs the other way from any open door.....
... Abby too, she was a Charlie, Francis hurricane rescue, so she too is terrified of the outside....

PM, I put four drops of Bach's Rescue Remedy for Pets on Windi's food three times a week. It must taste good because she licks it off first. I honestly do think that it's helped her.

Yes, GD. Garbo has seen her when she first came home, in the cat basket. She can also hear her galumphing round the tiny bedroom (wooden floors), chasing the mousie toy. She sits outside looking at the door, and she is a bit more insistent that I give her plenty of attention.

Hi! So glad Pickles is being a "bit" more social! I am sure she will blend right in! Good Luck for Mr. AV and Daughter AV today. I totally understand the nervousness of waiting, AV! She will be great! So Cuddles has become a mountain cat? Fantastic! GD, did you and GG go out!?

I waited and waited for him to get back to me. He texted me at 11:00 to see what the plan was and I texted him back. When I didn't hear back from him by 11:30, I texsted him back and told him it was getting too late and that I was going to bed since I had to get up at 6:30 and go to work. I then shut the phone off.
WHen I turned the phone on this morning, he had texted me back three times right after I texted him. He seemed annoyed that I cancelled.
I'm not texting him back. UNless he wants to go out at a reasonable hour, he can just forget it! -
I have ordered some Bach's rescue remedy online. It should arrive on Monday. If it works it's a lot cheaper than buying a refill for the feliway diffuser.

GD, where did you get the Bach's? I think my girls might benefit from it. They both are like Mi and Windi, scaredy cats that are so jumpy. I suspect it was not in their nature but the woman who had them before me had a granddaughter who I think was not so "nice" to them. I would like them to relax in their own home and not be scared if a person walks past the house. I don't want to keep Wilma on Ativan (people drugs) cause it will harm her little liver. Thanks! Poop on GG! He needs to get a clue! He doesn't know what he is missing!

MC, I order the Bach's Rescue Remedy for Pets through Amazon. It will be a secondary seller. The one that I've gotten it through is Home Naturals. Be sure that it's the Bach's for Pets because all of the others contain alcohol.

I just spent some time on Amazon myself! I love that place, but have to stay away to save monay!
I just bought a car radio there - a cheap, simple one with radio and CD player.
WHen the fan wouldn't stop running in my car, XBF went a little nuts pulling fuses to make it stop and pulled the one to my radio system. When I bought the car, it came with a nice system with navigation, DVD player, tv etc. Anyway, after he pulled the fuse, the darn system wants a code to turn back on and since I didn't buy the system, I don't know the code.
I contacted the manufacturer about getting it reset and as a precaution against theft, they won't reset it without a receipt to prove I bought the unit.
Grrrrrr! I gave up and just bought a $25 car radio on Amazon - hopefully I can figure out how to install it. -
wow, don't they understand people sell their cars and maybe someone else might need that code later? pretty tight security!

Apparently not! Maybe had I bought it from the original owner, I could have gotten the code, but I got it at a dealership, and I doubt they even noticed the system was in there - they certainly never mentioned it.
It's very annoying - it's a nice system and now I can't use it.
I'd never spend money on something like that myself, hence the $25 radio from Amazon! -
Our HEB grocery store here carries some of the Bach's line but I've never seen the one for pets there.

Hi all - a little late for breakfast, but our power was out for a while this morning so I'm still craving eggs of some sort. Since it's Caturday, I'll take a mimosa as well.
Dreamed Leela was hanging around with a black bear cub about the same size as she! All I remember other than that was being able to separate her from the bear and get out of there; where there's a baby, mama isn't too far away. Back from the wedding and I must say as a Catholic, I was shocked. Walked into a big old beautiful church to have Rod Stewart rocking on the speakers. It seemed so inappropriate. Not to mention the bride's black and white snake pattern dress with spaghetti straps! Then Michael Jackson broke into song mid ceremony. I thought for sure the floor was gonna open up and suck me to hell right then and there. I realize other religions have different marriage traditions but I felt "sinful" at this one! The church ladies made a cake which was none too tasty. Bailed out pretty quick!

Oooof, MC, that sounds like a bad way to spend the day!
I'm hanging with the boys for a bit. Earlier I worked and then met my friend at Panera and walked the dog-sitting dog. I'm going to feed the boys in a bit and then head to the dog-sitting house for the night.
What's everyone else got going on?

Lainey is going to take a nap. The stress of this past few days have taken it's toll on my body and i've taken about 3 doses of immodium... We are having a storm (though not an electical one like a few times this week) so going to lay down and listen to it and hope the thunder gets louder than my tummy! Will check in on the late shift in the lounge later if I don't sleep through the night. Going to go retrieve jetta from the worm-hole. I think a few hours of partying at the rink are enough for that old gal, besides, I need my cuddle bunny with me!
