Thanks Jcat, yes, this is the final round...... it was a three day tournament, and this is the third day..... at the end of today, who ever has the lowest comblined score for the 3-days, wins!...... he and the other guy are one shot apart!....... Hubbs has played golf since he was a child - his handicap is a one......
.... sadly, I didn't take up the game until 2 yrs ago.... my handicap is 38..... but he really doesn't care, he plays with me all the time..... he is very patient, and a good teacher.... I think he just loves the fact, that I've taken an interest in his favorite sport.......

They're fine, AV, Libby brought a live mouse into the bedroom this morning so I chased her out with a wee shriek and shut the door. I imagine she let it go in the house again as there was a lot of thumping and running around after that...
Nothing's new, I've been dying to get out in the garden and plant my new trees but I have so many deadlines right now, I've just spent the last three days glued to the computer seat. I am looking forward to having a day off and enjoying our spring weather!

Abby "chillin"These are the girls in their favorite spots - they pretty much don't move during the day except to get up to eat, or come over to "demand" a quick scritch or two!.... LOL......
EEEEEKKKKK!!!!! a live mouse in the bedroom?....... silly Libby!..... up here, sometimes those tiny field mice get in through the fireplace, but Abby doesn't let them get far...... I typically only see one if I'm up here without the cats!.......

No wonder they love it up there, it looks like they're in a treehouse! a very comfy one! It does look beautiful and it also looks very high up, AV, I guess you don't get vertigo, tee hee, that would be my only problem with the mountains. I always heard the Blue Ridge Mountains were stunning!
Eeeek! is exactly what I said. I'm afraid my little huntress probably gets very disappointed with my reaction -- on the other hand, it means she doesn't have to share!

thanks MC!..... that will make him feel good to know so many will be "cheering" him on...... after yoga, I'll come back here for a quick shower, then will get a cart and follow him around for the rest of the round..... typically we get a gallery of about 50 or so people!.... it's really fun.....

Jetta is screaming for more roller rink party fare.. told her sorry sweetie but that is for special days and besides there is another party coming up later this week, and she can have special treats then! and it keeps happening.... I had thought for a few days I might be starting a bladder infection but wasn't too sure. Felt it a little in my lower back and I was running to the bathroom a lot. Was waiting outside the clinic today when they opened. Went thru the whole spiel with them and they asked for a urine sample. When it was done being tested the doc asked me what I had planned for today. I said nothing. He said he wanted to directly admit me to the hospital. Said I was borderline septic or for all he knew I AM septic. The test they run there isn't as thorough as it would be in the hospital. I said "no thanks" what is my other option. He said he could give me antibiotics but they wouldn't be as effective as IV antibiotics (I know, I have had sepsis before, it stinks). I said that I would take option two, the antibiotics by mouth. He wasn't happy but gave me the Rx and sent me on my way. WHEN? WHEN will it end? I have to go back on the 31st to have my head checked for the pooling of Cerebral Spinal Fluid (which could result in surgery!). AARGH!

MC, wow, it really never does end with you, does it? You poor thing! I hope you at least had a good evening wth FF.
I hung out at the dog-sitting house with "Twilight" that I'm finally getting around to reading. I was going to go to sleep early, but then started texting with GG and texted til just after midnight. I then got woken up when XBF texted me at 12:40 that he was fine with playing tennis this morning (I had texted him and asked earlier). Couldn't go back to sleep and then woke up at 5:50. Managed to go back to sleep for another hour before getting up at 7:00 to walk the dog, go home and feed the boys, chase Bobby who ran out the door and was a bad boy, get dressed for tennis and out the door.
Just got back now from playing tennis, walking the dog again and grocery shopping. Now I'm waiting for tennis to be on at 12:30. There's definitely a nap in my future!!! -

Did the shopping, had some lunch, saw Mum, and have spent the afternoon typing away on the lappy (trying to put my job into words as a series of standard operating procedures for when I'm away - NOT easy!!) - and watching the cricket. I know cricket is a largely alien concept to Americans (and somewhat to me too, the shame seeing as the company I work for is predominantly cricket based!!), but the long and short of it is England need to take just three more wicket to win back the Ashes from Australia. The Ashes is THE most hotly contested competition between us and the Aussies, takes place every 18 months, and this time it's England's turn to host.
GO ENGLAND!!!!!

Hi everyone in TDK land. Today's kitten picture is sooo adorable! Leela has been running around like a nut; wish I had a video camera. She puts a toy under the couch or chair and then lays on her side and scoots along the edge, pulling herself along with one paw, while the other is under trying to get at the toy. She's lucky the furniture is 25 years old...

There must be something in th air, Joan! Bobby was nuts this morning! He ran out the open door and once he realized he was out without a leash, he took off. He zoomed around out there and was really tough to catch.
He managed to step in duck poop, too! He kept looking like he was going to clean his paws, then smelled the poop and would make a funny face, shake the paw and give up cleaning it. I ended up having to clean them for him, which made him even more upset.He just set up a new toy for them and Bobby is playing like he's a kitten again. It's too funny. I'll put a video up in a minute.

Couldn't even begin to tell you where my two are. Somewhere in "hiding" from the airshow outside. Yes, GD, did have a good time with FF until the alarm went off and they went out on a call.They usually are out a minimum of two hours on a call. He was the firetruck driver and not on the ambulance. I left as it was already 1230pm. I was probably not even gone 15 mins and he texted me to tell me that it was a "false alarm", did I want to come back. I said "no" I want to go to bed! LOL
