I ahhhh....caught Mi in the act of (sorry about the TMI) "humping" a blanket today (no, thankfully not Bobby's blankie!)
What is up with that? He's neutered!!! Is this normal?

LOL, I don't know if it's normal or not but I have one of mine "Stinker" that does that & he has been neutered for over a year now. I'm sure you were as shocked as I was.

My previous cat was a boy and neutered. He also "humped" things. I never knew why he did it. He grew out of it and if I didn't address it he seemed to stop!

The only thing I can figure is they are still boy's & have boy hormones. Maybe somebody else might have some insight, cause I'm curious myself.

Little boy kitties love to play with their special friends. You can find utube videos of the behavior with little effort. The feel good part is not removed with the family jewels.

Well that explains Sherlock. Vet told me that he had to be 6 months before neuturing because he had to be mature. Well he sees the daughter and it leads to awkward discussions about his behavior. He seems to have a special attachment to her. I said at least if she can't get a date for homecoming she knows the dog will go with her. She was not amused---don't understand that normally she has such a great sense of humor.
