Thanks for the update, Siobhan. As much as I would love to fill out an app for adopting Hadley, I realize that it probably wouldn't work. He will probably be a "special needs kitty" - at least for awhile - and he should have someone who knows how to look out for his medical needs. Besides, the girls would freak out over a new cat in the house. I'm sure that he will find a good home.
Thank you for the update! I'm so glad Hadley is going to be okay and they are ready to start looking for a home for him.
NNGM, I'm sure you're right about being a "special needs kitty" and would likely do best in a quite household at least for now. Still hoping the catch the monster that did this.
That made me cry tears of joy. He's such a handsome fellow. They should make a little vest for him to cover the burns on his back. I just love him and wish I could take him. Look at that face!!

I too am so glad that Hadley is doing so well. The burned area on his back still looks and angry red but they say it is healing so well that he doesn't need bandages at night. Also he looks so handsome with his new whiskers. What a trooper! I would think that Hadley might want to be adopted to a home where there is someone home at all times since he will need looking after still and where there are other more sedate type animals. My mellow Sylvester would be a good companion but he would not like another kitty what with already having to put up with Mia who he loves to boss around.
