It's finally here! B&W's fourth birthday! Today is their big birthday party! They were up at the wee hours of the morning, they were so excited about all the friends coming over. We got an early morning surprise by Velvet and Spice who have come over to help set up decorations. There are balloons and streamers, party favors and cute little tablecloths. The girls are even more excited to share the day with Sylvester and Windi who recently had anniversary/purrday's. We are setting up the volleyball net, trampoline and lots of lawn chairs for the kitties to nap in. There is also swimming for the kits to enjoy. I've set up a nice tent out of the direct sun for some of the older kitties to rest in with big floofy pillows. They are pulling out the grill which is going to be manned by a nice orangie from the Cafe'. He is making salmon burgers, tuna burgers, or shrimp kabobs. There are also nip chips and we are making some nip punch for everyone to enjoy. And finally a big nip mice cream cake for dessert! There is a big sign up outside saying "Happy Purrday Betty, Wilma, Sylvester, and Windi". It has been so wonderful having Velvet and Spice help set up, wonder if their meowmy realizes they slipped out early to come help. Hmmmmm...... Everything is set, only going to be around 70F today so it should be enjoyable for all. Velvet and Spice sneak back home to meowmy for now and my girls are anxiously awaiting when their friends get over (maybe their meowmy's will let them come over when they go to work!). Let's get this party started!

sumi was so excited she had to have a bath last night Mollycat!! Her daddy had run the bath for me; thought he had closed the door tight, but nosey little sum-sum pushed door open and jumped up on edge of bath, still quite high for her. I was headed for the bathroom when I heard frantic splashing/scrabbling - exit high-speed saturated kitten! Lucky he'd run a good balance of cold water in there! So now she's sweeeeet smelling for the purrty!!! miso is dressed in her best purrty frock - it's chocolate ebony too, so it matches her fur, conveniently. She wants to wear her green boa too, so I said fine, as long as she promises not to tangle the tiny furbabies in it. The girls will be bringing some special party kibble for treats, and their favourite toys, so everyone can play together. They have a special roller toy with a tiny hole, and the mewmies put treats inside, then the kits roll it and pieces of kibble come out as if by magic!!! They can't wait to leave!! See you sooooon!! Oh, and FURRY PURRDAY to Betty and Wilma!! Treats on their catster pages!

Thanks so much! The girls are going to put on their party dresses. A flowing long lavendar one to coordinate with Betty's grey fur. She also had a bow to wear but I think they are gonna wear party hats! Wilma chose a yellow sundress with little flowers all over it! She put little clips in her fur right up front. Oh, this is gonna be so fun!

Leela was up for a good part of the night rummaging around where I keep wrapping paper, etc. She was also going thru her wardrobe and she is now putting the final touches on treats and a tuna sheetcake (that she is very proud to say she made herself). Looks like she is just about ready to party!

Fred was up early getting his outfit together and his fur just right for his Wilma...He has on a pair of jeans with a nice green polo to match his eyes. He also has flowers for all the girls for their birthday, roses for Wilma, and a big bag of nip for Sylvester. Cricket is in an Amber sundress to match her eyes. She is carrying a big box with a present for each of the birthday kitties. They are stuffed with nip mice, cat dancers, crinkle mats. She also brought new bows and nail polish for the girls so they can all have a day of beauty too.
They are so excited. They rush through the cathole and appear at the party.
They put their presents down on the table then Fred gives the flowers to Betty and Wilma. the nip and the other set of flowers will have to wait for Windi and Sylvester to arrive. He kisses Betty on the cheek and says Happy Birthday..then he goes to Wilma, nuzzles her under her chin and kisses her cheek.
Cricket bounds over with her usual spring and hugs both girls. Happy Birthday!!! She hugs Leela and says hi to Miso and Sumi and gives them a hug too.Posted 6 months ago by cricketsmama #

Yay! We knew our friends would get here soon! Their meowmy's just had to get them ready! Wilma blushes when she gets her flowers from Fred. She wonders if maybe later Fred will have some nip punch with her in the porch swing?!? All the kitties go lay down on the lawn chairs and start sharing stories of what has been going on since they last saw each other! Betty, Miso, Sumi, Leela and Cricket all snicker about Wilma and Fred!

Wheee! Thud! George loves sliding through the wormhole :) He's brought birthday flowers for Betty and Wilma, and a box of chocolates for their meowmy. He also brought a collection of catnip balls with feather tails, which is his favorite toy ever.

Fred, I've got a little tingle that is saying Shaddo is thinking of you. Even though he loves the Rainbow Bridge, he misses his buddies and I know you guys were best buds. I do believe he watches all these parties and wishes he was still here to go to them. Since you are a cat, I am sure you have that extra sense so you already know all of this!

George starts telling Fred and Cricket stories about how he "helped" the contractors remodel the bathroom (all he really did was supervise). "And my mom got me my own toolbelt and everything!" (well, she thought about it at one point).
"Hey! Have you guys ever seen these feather toys before? They're really cool, and they have catnip in them!" Three cats go scrambling madly away, chasing after the feather toy...

Fred sure does miss Shaddo. He thinks of him all the time, especially at these parties where he could just hang out with his buddy. He knows Shaddo is here in spirit and can feel him at times.

Leela jumps at the chance to play with a feather toy! She still has the one she got from Auntie Debsterwiz, although there's not much left of it. She runs with the ever-growing crowd of kitties playing, but suddenly remembers her manners.

... Abby and Cuddles swoosh through the worm hole!...... Abby has been collecting "bird feathers" up here in the mountains for the past two weeks, and Cuddles has knitted them into a stuffed "bird" on a long string that can be hung so that the girls can swat and play with it, even when their Meowmy is at work........ Abby has also made some nip and tuna finger sandwiches, and Cuddles is carrying (hoarding) a large tray of cupcakes, with crab and salmond frosting........
..... they giggle as they arrive, and run (Cuddles waddles) over to greet everyone with Headbonks and purrs.......

The wormhole opens for Nibs, Nora and Gem. They have brought their gifts for Betty and Wilma - 2 Boogie Mats filled with catnip (because you just can't share a Boogie Mat). They have also brought some little socks filled with nip for the other kitties to play with. Nora was helping to make them up last night and... lets just say she over-indulged a bit. Right now all she can think about is food (probably a combination of nip hangover and being on a diet). The girls are all dressed in their nicest sundresses and sunhats, and are wearing their Shaddo pins. Happy Birthday, Betty and Wilma!

Leela stops playing with feathers for a bit to greet those just arriving. "Hi Cuddles, let me help you with the cupcakes." Cuddles hisses at Leela, but Leela, still being a baby, shrugs it off. Abby giggles, "actually, she likes you, she told me so! She's just possessive of food." Leela totally understands that - no problem!

My crew woke me up early they were so excited ......Elija caried a package of his favorite foam balls to give ....ceasar wanted to give pretty new collars for the girls with crystals in them as he is a bit of a cassinova ...sacha worrys that he is a bit shy ....edward,henry,markus,alexander,buckly,indie carries a stuffed catnip toy....cleopatra brings little hair bows .....elizabeth, marie,annie,jose,issabella and sophie, bring catnip crackers with salmon ....mickey, percy erwin,and damion ....have cat grass !!

Cuddles *blushes*..... she didn't mean for a "hiss" to slip out at Leela, she has been working hard lately on being nicer to the young ones.... being in the mountains with Abby has helped her a lot, as this house is pretty close quarters.....she smiles to her self as she sees Abby whisper something in Leela's ear, and then they both giggle and run off chasing feathers....
..... still holding the tray of cupcakes, Cuddles can't bring herself to put it down on the big table, where everyone is crowding around...... she spies a pair of comfy chairs in the corner with a nice little coffee table inbetween them, and heads that way......she gives Nora a conspiratoral *grin* as she passes bye......

Better late than never! Tux, Ginger and Lissa all come thru the wormhole to join the others. Since this is their first TDK party they are a little shy but everything looks like so much fun, they don't know where to start. I gave them each a little present to give to the Birthday kitties, catnip mousies for everyone! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BETTY, WILMA, WINDI AND SYLVESTER!!! Now, let's go check out that trampoline ;o)

Did someone say "Party"? The zoo crew are sooooo mad at meowmy cuz they have not gotten to go ANYWHERE with Meowmy's crazy schedule. They are all so excited and Mikey, Petey, & Whiskers are excited but nervous. They have heard so much about all of the Zoo Crews friends. They just hope everyone will like them (silly kitties) LOOK OUT the worm hole is on overload with all 11 kitties. The whole broode is dressed in their very best pool party duds and all have been soooooo looking forward to a chance to hang out with the crowd. LOOK OUT, they all rush to the birthday girls, stampeed style! The crew has brought diamond and emerald tiaras for all of the birthday girls and really cool cufflings for Sylvester. Happy Birthday! We have missed you all soooooo much!

Nibs has already claimed her lounge chair. Got to get some sun on the belly, you know! Nora is going to head over to visit her friend Cuddles. Those chairs look great. Gem is really enjoying watching the young ones. She giggles at Tansey, chasing her tail. "Hi Tansey! I used to live in Kalamazoo too!"
