Lady Coco tucks her head under her front paws and nods off again. In her dream, a dignified black and white tuxie with elegant white "gloves" and dashing white hip "boots" is standing in a lovely courtyard and smiling at her as she snuggles in the group of seniors. She's always been so shy, it's good to see her in company. Startled, she lifts her head and Sam fades but not before she feels a gentle head bonk from her adopted big brother. She'll be sure to tell meowmmie about this.

Windi begins to cry all over again because she loves the flowers and dead leaves that Fred has given her. She happily hugs all of her friends and gives Betty and Wilma an extra wash behind their ears in honor of their birthday.
Willow runs off with Cricket and they grab Georgie to go and do the limbo. Willow is hoping that maybe later on they will all be doing some Texas Two Step dances!

Better late than never, he comes the rowdy rock n roll gang from the birthplace of Elvis! Stink, Ellie, JuneBug, Charli, Randle, canines - Bleau, Vega, and Tallulah have been ready for hours. Silly meowmy! They come bearing gifts from the Elvis museum, a beautiful clock of Elvis with swinging legs should give Betty and Wilma hours of entertainment. The museum kittens won't to come too! They are so small still, about 7 weeks old. I have told them maybe next time. Watch out, the wormhole is full!!!!

Oreo watches as Sugarfoot makes her way towards the hanging of the Pinata. From the corner of her eye she spots Brutus, Biddy, Koko and Lion and gasps as she sees that even Stink and crew from the place where Elvis was born arrives..with the dogs too!! She'll have to keep that news from Amos who stayed at home today. There's so many friends together at this gathering. Deciding she'd rather be near to the babies and seniors she knows she'll be able to watch the excitement of the pinata from the snuggly kitty quilt and makes her way there.

sumi got into trouble earlier when she led a gaggle of young 'uns to the pool, and started to show off how she fell into the hooman tub last night. Wilma had to intervene and call Fred and George to rescue 3 panicked splashing little kittens. miso rolled her eyes as she sat with the 'teen kits' discussing cool issues, not wanting to be associated with the babies and their antics. Now there's a warm furry heap of purring babies under the canvas sunshade, fast asleep, as they've been playing (and swimming) so hard. Betty is thinking of crooning a song, but is there a kitty who can accompany her on the purrano? (she thinks 'maybe I should have invited Nora, but her schedule is so hectic......')

The girls can't believe how much fun they are having. Everyone looks like they are having such a fun time. Maybe since the majority of kits are here it's time to bring out the purrday cake! They call for meowmy and here comes a big sheet catnip cake with catnip icing! Everyone help me since Happy Purrday to Betty, Wilma, Sylvester and Windi. Ok, here we go! Happy Purrday to you! Tuffy and Shady are both exhausted from tramping and limboing so they make their way over to the pinata where so many others are gathering. This could prove to be VERY entertaining! Hoping everyone is prepared to duck and weave quickly as the bat starts whizzing through the air, they sit safely outside the swinging perimeter. They boys have tried this at home with some sorely sorry results indeed.

Cuddles wakes up for a bit and stretches...... then turns over and sleeps the other way...... before she nods off, she looks over all the sleeping babies, and tucks little blankets in under little chins to make sure they're comfortable.....quickly her loud purrsnore can be heard, in chorus with all the other purrs and tiny sleepy trills......

Lady Coco carefully licks catnip icing off her whiskers and polishes them with a slow paw. Sophie, who plowed face first into her cake, is busy over by the pool having her face washed by an obliging orangie. She's about ready for a nap, too.

Sugarfoot approaches her brothers and asks Tuffy "Wherever is your Lei? Did you eat it ALREADY"? "I had to" he said to her. "Jumping on the trampoline it kept flying off my neck....I finally just ate it". Shady was just devouring the last shrimp from his Lei and now intently washing his tasty paws as they slipped away the last morsels from his whiskers. Sugarfoot just shook her head and gasped,"Boys"!!!!

Windi gets so excited during the singing of Happy Purrday that she jumps onto the table and takes a big bite out of the corner of the cake. Willow is, of course, horrified! She makes Windi spit out the chunk of cake and then she carefully sneaks over hoping that no one is watching and sticks the chunk back on the corner of the cake. With her paw she tries to smooth icing over the assaulted corner of cake ....... She gives her sister a little swat to remind her to mind her manners.

Tuffy watches as Windi gets in trouble...he walks up to her and begins to help her clean the icing from her face. "Don't feel bad Windi..mmmmm...yum...my sisters are always getting after me for wanting yummies before I'm supposed to have them." Watching nearby, Sugar slowly shakes her head at her brother. He just couldn't resist she thinks.

Velvet is up and around the party. she is pleased to see so many of her friends here. she walks over to the pinata. every now and then she hears Spice purr and giggle. she quietly walks to the buffet and devours several catnip crackers with tuna dip. Spice certaintly knows how to whip up a batch of dip !!! what is next on the agenda ??? some harmless flirting with the handsome male kitties, of course !!!
...and then cake !!!!

Oh no, VEGA, stop, don't, VEGA, leave the pinata alooonnnneeeeee! Stop, don't jump at it, don't use your teeth to break it open!! Bleau dashes up just in time to knock Vega out of the way. NO BLEAU, if Vega couldn't jump at it what makes you think you can? The rock n roll felines just shake their heads, twitch their tails, and think "silly canines, we can't take them anywhere"...........

Sorry..Sylvester and Mia make a late arrival due to Momma being in meetings all morning at work. Happy Birthday Betty and Wilma!!!
Sylvester is excited to share in the celebration of their special day what with his being a week ago tomorrow. Sylvester brought catnip filled toys and catnip bubbles and Mia brought feather toys and some nice tuna and salmon cupcakes.

Mama and Chester were almost not allowed to come since they are being very nasty to my new baby kitten who just arrived last night, but I reconsidered and they will be arriving, if a little late. If all the pinata goodies and food is gone, it's their own fault. And yes, I told them, they still have to bring the present of salmon croquets, and if they eat them before they arrive there will be no dinner tonight. Baby is a little young to come, but he wants to RSVP for next year.

PIN THE TAIL ON THE GOGGIE? The canines look around, Tallulah is their obvious choice for this game, she is the smallest, fattest, and has the shortest tail. Bleau and Vega wonder what Tallulah will look like with a big tail as they shove poor Tallulah towards Wilma!

.... Abby is not sure how to eat the "lick kitty" she scampered to get when the pinata burst........she looks tentatively at Willow..... is it like a lollipop?.......
..... Cuddles has decided to go for "round" two at the food table.... the large sheet birthday cake looks delicious, so she heads for the cake line..... she laughs as she passes Abby, looking confused with the lick kitty.... silly girl!.....

Who thought dogs could ever be such fun at a Purrday Party!! But what's this??? Pin the tail on the goggie?? They stop to watch the outcome and maybe join in the game.

Sylvester is a bit off balance after being spinned around. He takes the "tail" and goes for the goggie! He ends up pinning the tail on the wall! All the kitties break out in a giggle and Sylvester grins when he sees he wasn't even close!
