  2. Some of the stuff they put into hot dogs is a turn off for me! All beef & turkey dogs even veggie dogs sound more appealing, but I would rather eat a different protein source.

  6. I only eat Kosher dogs. And I've always eaten them, even when I was young. Just the other day I had a killer chili dog with cheese, mustard and onions. So, no, it's not turning me to hot dogs. I've loved them all along!! lol

    But I do agree, mmmmmm yummy with potato chips and kosher dill pickles...I love Hebrew Nationals...and what a great commercial they have No if's and's or Butt's....hahaha

  10. I love hot dogs ! On the grill, and burnt black.... add ketchup and yum! Are they good for me ? Oh probably not.... but gotta have 'em every once in a while.

  11. I've been eating hot dogs all my life. Not too often but I'll not probably ever cut them out completely. I do like the Hebrew Nationals but have often woofed down the ball parks in glee! =D

  18. 2P and HM!!! OMG..I thought I was the only one who liked them "well done". Hubby thinks I am nuts, but I like it well done..one the grill, on the broiler. My mom used to boil them or use the microwave and I can't stomach boiled hot dogs or microwaved hot dogs now.

  19. Oh no, CM, I love them that way. Hmmmm....I may have to forego the pork chops tonight and have hot dogs instead - lol.

    They had a place on the Food Network's "Hot Dog Paradise" that deep fried their dogs and you could get them 'crunchy'. Man, I wanted to go to that place - lol. Boiling a hot dog is just wrong. Boiling anything is just wrong - unless it's an egg. :)

  22. I will occasionally do hot dog quesadillas. I'll broil or grill hebrew national dogs and then put them on a Tortilla with cheese and whatever and then fold the tortilla and heat them up in a pan and dip the slices in ketchup and mustard. Nice option when there are no buns in the house.

    Vegas!! Oh I am so jealous HM...I saw that Travel Channel show...I wanted to go there too. Crunchy dogs! MMMMMMM

  25. OMG! I was teased growing up! My dad always said he had to set my hot dogs on fire and let them burn for a little bit to get them black enough for me! I love them that way, smothered in ketchup. The only thing is, I have maybe one hot dog per year. Though Chicago dogs are quite delcious!!!

  27. I am going to have to find some Kosher hot dogs and grill them 'til they are
    black & crunchy...my dad used to serve them that way when he was in charge of grilling! (Fond memories/relive my childhood next weekend Up North!)
