Hi! I know things are slow around here on the weekend and I am sure today is no different. Don't know how things are where you are but here it barely got to 60F today. The weather man said we are going to slide hard and fast into winter. No real fall this year. Guess that's like no real summer either! We are having pizza, pasta, salad, fresh fruit and drinks tonight. Kitties are all around, taking in the fresh cool, late summer breeze. They are watching a little drizzle come down. Looks like winter with the big grey clouds. Come in, say hi, grab a bite and definitely grab a kit or two for loving. Let's get the weekend started on the right paw. WILKOMMEN!

Evening MC, your slide into winter sound like us earlier this year. We barely had Autumn(Fall) and then winter was upon us and a good cold hard winter it was for the first time in a few years. Great for killing off all the nasty things that lurk in the garden soil and attack the new Spring plantings. Nature has balanced herself out again.
I'll take some pizza thanks, it's just gone midday here and I'm hungry. I've been out buying flower seedlings for my garden. I want lots of wonderful colour and beautiful scents wafting inside as soon as possible. I arrived home to find Meegz betrothed off loading firewood for next year. Hi, MC and MS! We are just the tiniest bit stressed here. Mr. WWM's dressings continue to be rather blood soaked so of course I am worried. But I am caring for him as best I can. We did go back to his doctor's office today because I was worried. He said, "I can live with that seepage". So it remains to be seen if I can!

It was a sort of planned surgery, MS. But the unexpected is that his dressings have been rather blood soaked today. And I don't like that. But we made an emergency visit to his dr's office this morning and I think that it's probably because of the coumadin (blood thinner) that Mr. WWM takes. The vexing problem is how to apply pressure to the incision. If it keeps up I've already told Mr. WWM that we will call the doctor again tomorrow because I know that he's on call. Of course, I am worried....

MS, I love when the flowers bloom and the smells come in. When I trimmed the lemon tree yesterday the smell was so nice :)
MC, wish it would have been in the 60's here, it hit 104 for the temp today...I know not as hot as Phoenix or Yuma but still...

hello everyone. tonight, i'm getting ready for a big chore tomorrow - cleaning the bathroom floor. it gets dirty easily because of the traffic in between the office and the bedroom, also one kitty pan is in the bathroom. tonight i'm scrubbing the carpet/rubber/pvc pad that goes underneath the cat pad. don't know when it will be dry. but the bathroom floor will be scrubbed tomorrow, and the remainder of the dirty kitchen dishes too...
in the meantime, i'll have an ice cold diet pepsi please, thank you...

Looks like we'll have decent weather for MCW's visit, which is a relief; it's been such a weird summer. Hardly any summer, really. It rained for what seemed like forever, then we had a little bit of crazy heat, and now it's rainy again. Bleah. It does look like it should be OK the middle of next week, though.

Evening CM and Cheri. I well remember the 'just one more story' bed time antics. More often than not I would find Mr MS sound asleep beside one for the girls after falling asleep reading to them. Then the problem of how to wake him and get him out of the room without waking the girls.
Cheri, sounds like you have your evening sorted. Good luck getting the mat dry.
We are starting to get temperatures of around 18C(65F) during the day now, that's lovely and warm for spring and things are blooming early too.

Good evening, all! WWM is hope Mr. WWm is all better in the morning. I know you take the very best care of him.
I'm home from the gym, have fed the boys, showered and found something to wear. Now I'm waiting for GG to call to go out. I've gotten so used to it not working out, that I'm kind of almost expecting him to call and say he can't make it or something. We'll see.
I'm so glad the weekend's here. I was really fed up this week with working so much and never getting to see my friends. Hopefully I'll make up for it by seing GG tonight and tomorrow I'm going to meet a friend for lunch and shopping at the mall after work. Sunday I'm meeting my Panera friend for tea.
I also hope to see XBF for tennis and for him installing the new radio I got into my car. We'll see how much of this I manage to fit into the weekend.What's everyone else doing?

Hi GD! Mr. K and I are probably headed out to the US Open on Sunday; it's free on the last day before the start of the tournament and you can walk around and watch people practicing. We've seen Roddick and Federer in previous years, so it could be good. Other than that, I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow so I don't look a total mess in the meetup pictures when MCW is here.
How are the boys? George is passed out upside down on the couch :)

hey hey all! Mystie had her first day out in the room today no more locked in the soft crate furing the day and at night she gets her large playpen. with toys in it. She has been bouncing off the walls. Even max had to get away for a break. He went into he rplaypen and climbed to the top shelve and slept hahaha.

Not yet, FH - is kickball game just ended, I think.

Hi everyone! Cheri, I like your new avatar. It is new, isn't it? I get confused, because the firewall at the office blocks everyone's avatars and I can't "see" anyone from there.
GD, I hear you talking about Panera, and I keep thinking I've got to go there. So today was the day! I had a gift card from my boss and proceeded to get a panini (could only eat half; the rest waits for me to warm it up for lunch tomorrow), a bread bowl of brocoli cheese soup, and a blond brownie (saved half of that for my sweet tooth tomorrow too!)
It's been raining on and off today so I napped not only this afternoon, but this evening as well. In our brand-new room upstairs we have a couch and chair that were in my parents house so the couch is at least 20 years old and oh so comfy. How are you feeling - other than pooped?I'm so looking forward to Labor Day! They tried getting me to cover at the gym, but I lied and told them I'm working my other job and can't. We're open 8-1, so they're not even my hours on a Monday.
