Hi Dorie! I do love Abby, but Auntie Ellen found her and decided she loves her, too, as does her daughter and hubby. Her poor dog, Rocky, was diagnosed with kidney cancer this week and I'm thinking little Miss Abby chose the perfect time to come into Ellen's life.

I am going to say good night to everyone. Morning comes way to early around here. Maddie is still up!!! She's in her bed talking..holy cow..I hope she sleeps in tomorrow. I took a benedryl to help my allergies..my eye is itchy, swollen and my nose is running..I hate them. At least I can get to sleep with the benedryl.

The teachers come back on the 2nd and they have an inservice day on the 3rd. The district is closed on Friday the 4th and the students come back on the 8th. Summer is great - I just comb my hair out after showering and throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Now I have to adjust my wardrobe and I guess I will dry my hair. It's long and straight, kind of the long-hair version of wash and wear.

Thanks, BB and CM. Poor Ellen is so upset about Rocky. There's nothing they can do but medicate him and she says he's feeling pretty good. I'm happy to see she's really taken to Abby, though. That little girl lucked out - as did Ellen and hr family :)
GG texted me. We're going to meet at a bar with his kickball team for a drink and then go somewhere else. Wish me luck - I'm getting nervous...

Hi Dorie! Still not sure, I am looking into the possibility of Friday but I don't know how I will get there yet if I am able. It might be a last-minute thing.
