How do I get the cat pee smell out of a bed?

  1. My Spook accidentally got shut in the bedroom one day and had used the bed as a litter box before we realized what happened. The spot is gone, but the smell remains. Any suggestions?

  3. Lots of enzyme products such as Nature's Miracle will help. I've tried most of the ones sold at pet stores with only minimal success. Actually the best one I've found is the strongest version of Fabreeze that is sold for laundry/household use; not the one for freshening air but the one to spray on laundry or surfaces.

    I've had success getting the smell out of carpet with baking soda water but not the same success using baking soda on a couch or bed.

  8. You can flip the mattress over after using the products recommended above. :)
