Okay so my little Nova has started throwing up since last night. She first threw up her food but now she is throwing up some yellow foamy bile, and then earlier when I went to clean it up I found the tiniest little chunk of blood. Very small, but it's still there. She has still been eating and drinking and acting pretty much normal. Like several of you know, I just got a new kitty from the pet store so maybe it is caused by stress? The new kitty has been here two days and is fine except a little bit of sneezing. She is very playful, eating and drinking and pooping normally. Before we adopted her she was given all her vaccinations, and tested negative to any illnesses or diseases, but i'm worried that new kitty may have given her something? But my third cat, Nebula hasn't been sick or anything, she's just been stressed and grumpy because there's a new kitty in the house. I tried to take nova to the vet but they are all closed today. Does anyone have anything that could help me or any suggestions? please. =(

the only thing i could tell u is to take her to the vet as soon as it opens. if its a dyer emergency there is normally an animal hospital that is always open like a regular hospital, but i live in tallahassee i dont know if they have one where you live or not.

Alright, I called an emergency vet and told her the issue. She said that I should just watch her and the reason there was probably a tiny chunk of blood was cause since she was hacking so hard she probably busted a blood vessel, so just let her rest and watch her. Thanks guys.

Make sure you keep her well hydrated Supernova, if she's throwing up she'll be losing a lot of fluid.
