  6. My arm looks like a human scratching post. My Leela prefers interactive play rather than her toys. She also has never kneaded me either and she doesn't purr easily. She's quite high-strung, just over a year old. Perhaps you could try putting a toy between you and your little one and play with it with him. He might then associate playing with you with that toy. You two would get more interaction, and you never know, he might start kneading! Remember, as long as you give him lots of love and affection, he will reciprocate, although not always in the manner you look for.

  7. My Chloe doesn't play - with me or toys - just the way she is. She will knead on a soft blanket, but not on me. Mili - she will knead on my and let me tell you - it hurts sometimes... LOL Her claws need trimming and those sharp points go right through lihgt weight summer clothing when she decised to knead. I, too, get the cut puffs. Just goes with the territory

  8. Please give your kitten time, honey. Hold your hand at eye level to your kitty when you pet him; sometimes when you hold your hand above his head, he thinks you are trying to hurt him.

As for the kneading, it will emerge. Right now he is busy being a kitten and exploring the house and chasing the air and sleeping and eating and finding out what you are like and what is behind the door and what is in the closet, etc., Etc., ETC.!!!!!

That's just how they are, and they all need time.
