I have a 5 week old kitten whom I found at 1 week. She is using the litter box just fine when theres no litter (kitten corn kind) in it. I have been using towels in the box. Is there anything you can suggest to try that is safe for kittens that she might like?

Hi Mags, welcome to TDK!
Whatever you do, don't buy clumping litter, as this is bad for very young kittens if they try to eat it. I don't have any suggestions as such, but keep checking back & bumping your thread up, weekends can be a bit slow here!

Hi Mags! I use this (even though it's not kitten litter per se) for my baby kittens http://www.carefresh.com/products/pet-bedding/carefresh-ultra/
Where I live there's one agro-store that has it in stock for rabbit breeders but the only catlitters available are purina tidycats (which I'm not a huge fan of) and cat tails (decent for older cats but a bit dusty). So, I bought it for a squirrel my boyfriend found at work and soon discovered the babycats were smart enough to learn to use it as litter! They LOVE the pet bedding as litter and it's also eco-friendly.
Anyway, just a suggestion :) -
I use wood stove pellats ($5 for a 40 pound bag).
