   Is everyone okay?

   OK in Burbank so far.. The smoke clouds are immense, however. It's very hot which is no help.. I hear its heading toward Tippi Hedren's "Shambala Sanctuary".
   They have their own lake and fire hose pumps.. They are ready to tough it out.

   It seems California is burning from top to bottom. The fire we just had in Auburn,California yesterday,did some massive destruction. It only burned about 275 acres,but in it, stripped at least 60 Families of their homes & all their belongings. Several of them lost precious pets because the fire came on them so fast. The destruction looks like a war zone now. I have friends that use to live there & I use to go camping all the time right where the fire took place. God's country...to say the least of its beauty there & now it's all burnt. Sadly they're saying it may have started from the side of the freeway going thru the area.
   My Prayers go out to all who lost everything & their furry friends,

   I'm hoping that rain from that big hurricane (praying for those in its path) will make it up to LA. I know it won't be till the end of the week but it could give them a break and some hope. I haven't seen anything on the news to indicate if it will reach there or not. Anyone?

    It's very smokey but not in any danger!! Newest Fire is now burning like crazy in Oak Glen area which is no doubt choking out Owlwatcher!
    2 Firefighters were lost yesterday, very sad! Angeles National Forest is out of control at this time and has tripled in size since last night...Fire is racing up Mt. Wilson which is where all the tv and radio stations have their towers, so only if you have satelite tv or cable will you likely have local tv.

    I received an email from Tigerlilly yesterday. She mentioned there are no fires near her right now. So, that is a big relief.
    My heart goes out to all those who have lost homes and pets, and everything. I have had our Cal. TDKers on my mind and heart lately. Praying they check in.

    Actually, we can't even smell the smoke from the Oak Glen fire. I can see it though.
