I don't know about the rest of you but this has been a rough start to the week. I could use a stiff drink. I would like an oversized mudslide right NOW! LOL Not sure if that is good for a swollen brain but I can always imbibe a virtual one. There are snacks all around, name what you want, the kittehs will be happy to oblige. The fountains are flowing FREELY and you may have any drink, non-alcoholic or alcoholic. Please come love a kitteh, they are needy tonite too. Happy Monday, one day closer to MCW invading the U-S-A! YAY! (Wonder how AV's day at work went????)

I just woke up and a stiff drink sounds good and then back to bed in a few for me. I'll take a drink to warm my insides.. how about straight kalhua, no ice? That's a nice slow drink. And Ritz Crackers with real cream cheese and a cheese danish and a hot chai (gotta have my chai!).
So jealous I can't do any of the meet-ups but I wish MCW a safe and fun journey and trip!
Hope AV survived her day and that all my TDK friends and family are safe.
Going to check a few threads, take some medicine and head to bed with my noisy jetta and few agency kittehs. We will all comfort each other.
Night all!

I'll have a mudslide too. If I remember right it has chocolate in it and I need lots of chocolate. I had a very busy first day of the semester complete with malfunctioning equipment and flakey helpers.

Good evening all!! I just got in from working in the yard... Ugh.... cutting grass, pulling weeds, ect. Ache ache....... I'll be sore tomorrow I bet.
Stopped at the farm today after work and got some lima beans, string beans, a zucchini and a nice ripe tomato! Yum yumm!!!!!!!
There was an article in our newspaper today about the tomato blight that gardeners are bothered by this year. This farmer had a nice, large variety of everything today. Glad he did well in spite of the over abundant wet weather. :) -
Another mudslide being whipped up, it will help you feel better! Betty is taking it to the wormhole to send your way!

Evening all!.... first day! (whew, glad it's over!)..... much, much information to process...... many employees, many different personalities, much company info. to learn and I come in as the new "boss".......not an easy insert......tomorrow is my "tech" day.... the geek heads (no offense, I'm also somewhat of one) from corporate come to "acquaint me with the systems, set up my laptop, blackberry, teach me the high-tech phone system, etc..... I'm sure my head will be reeling!...
I'll take a nice relaxing glass of a good cab to sip...... Abby is "punishing" me for being gone all day (poor girl will have to get used to it!)
how is everyone?

Evening all!
MC I am with you--what a wicked start to the week. I got out of work an hour after class started. They say we have to have our Masters, but we have so much extra work piled on us with deadlines of yesterday, so we end up working horrendous hours. I am ready to drop--oh wait I did. Since I fell in the church I have been having problems, and I tripped in my classroom when I stepped on a pencil tonight. I hurt and am a bit frustrated. Forget the martini glass--just hand me the pitcher!

Pitcher on its way to SM as are two little itty bitty tuxie kitties to love on SM! Please rest and take it easy tonite and snuggle babies! Please know we are sending healing white lite and prayers for good health your way!

Slide me on over a mudslide please, MC! I started the day by refusing to do a simple task for my manager. It was about time she actually learnt how to do it herself and it would take her as long to sign on and do it is it would for her to stand in my office and explain what she wanted done. She took the manual and went off to do it - she is a good friend as well as my manager and could see I was busy which is why she just took it and left. In her previous job in a country I won't name she used to have 'underlings' to obey her every command but we are a bit more egalitarian in our company and in NZ and she needs to learn!

Meegz birthday is today Sept 1st. She was born on the first day of Spring 27 years ago. She doesn't know it yet but her fiancee is able to be with her tonight, she will be happy when he pops in. He came in and had morning coffee with me. Must off to the garden centre now. Back later on in NS. I will pass on your wishes to Meegz
