    I'm not enjoying it, CM. It's nice to make some more money, but it's wearing me out and I miss spending time with my friends, playing tennis, hanging out on TDK, etc. I'm going to have to figure out somethng soon...

    He's going to the dentist today, so I'll text him and see how it went.
    I'm hoping maybe we can get together and watch some tennis over the next two weeks when the US Open is on.

    I was wrong, it has flowers ranging from cream to pink to rosy red to brown... But it does smell gorgeous. It's an Aussie shrub, it says in my garden book, AV!

    ...Wow, those pics are lovely, thanks MS!..... my favorite "smelling" flower are gardenias....... they make my whole yard smell good - I had quite a few at my big house..... however, gardenia plants are something people tend to eithe LOVE or HATE.... some people can't stand the sweet perfumey smell, I personally love them!....

    Golly, I LOVE gardenias but I don't think you could grow them down here. I think they can grow them in Auckland -- maybe -- but around here they come from florists, lol.

    AV, I adore gardenia but don't have any in my garden, something I should remedy ASAP. The first perfume I ever bought was Gardenia by Goya, it was so beautiful. They no longer make it.

    I hate that, when you have a favourite scent and it disappears. I used to love one from Gucci which disappeared years ago and now my favourite is Byzance but I think they've just stopped making that too. :(

    Not that I go out enough to really warrant posh perfumes....

    I have one that Airy gave me, I was hoping Meegz could get it at Duty Free shopping when she went to Tahiti but they don't have it. KK can get it for me at K&S in Welly at about $100 for a couple of ounces. Will have to think seriously about that. It's called Presence d'une Femme by Mont Blanc and just really appeals to me. Not flowery at all.
    Time for me to wend my weary way up the stairs to bed now. Goodnight Jcat and Deb if you're lurking at w**k. Everyone else have a great day. CM, I hope you can get your head down sometime today for a power nap. GD, hope your boys allow you to get a proper nights sleep. AV, have a great second day at work and enjoy the techy geeky day.

    It's been 7 minutes since the last post and the morning Cafe is open. I'm heading off to bed now to curl up with my trusty hot water bottle.

    It's 12.30pam NZ time, ...the night is chilly in NZ and cool to d**n hot in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...

    check - turns fountains off
    check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
    check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
    check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
    check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
    check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box

    check - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.

    Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<
