Hello, Good morning!
I'm back on the computer after vacation. My daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren arrived, spent a wonderful week and a half with me, and returned safely home. I missed everyone here and all the news, but I had a wonderful time with the family.Posted 2 years ago by LadyKat of IA #

I seem to remember (maybe wrong) that head cheese is part of an English breakfast...or was it the blood pudding? Either way... eeww.
Hubs finished up canning the salsa yesterday, when I got home, I felt so nasty I had to lie down. But I had a cuddly, sleepy, purry, drooly Hermes for comfort.

OMG! Head cheese, I had to google it and now I know what it is. We call it brawn here. As long as I know where the meat came from I'd eat it. I remember an Estonian neighbour making the most wonderful brawn when I was a kid.
I'll take a quick chamomile tea as I'm heading off to bed now.

Eeewwwww, brawn, I think that comes in sandwiches for tea, along with tongue! Tee hee, lovely black pudding for breakfast, I think I'll pass on that as well...
Sorry you felt unwell, Siobhan, but good on your hubby for finishing up the canning, he sounds like a treasure!

Morning all! Evening and Night to MS and jcat :)
Feeding Ms. Abbers right now...she is trying to stand now. I walked into her room and she's sitting up in her crib and she grabbed a hold of the bar and tried to stand. Oh boy! Need to lower the mattress again :)
If you read the night shift, you will know that she kept me up between 12-4am so I am really tired today..the life of a mommy!
MMMM full english breakkie...yum..that includes beans and tomatoes as well!Maddie's up now..I can hear her talking to herself over the monitor.

Morning and Evening All! CM, I remember those tired Mommy days! You just have to put yourself on autopilot and get throught the day :))) I wish MCW a good flight and trip to the US! Morning everyone! I am getting so excited about meeting MC, NNGM and MCW in Chicago on Saturday!!!! My sister and one of my best friends were both their over the weekend...but not together, just coincidentally...and that has made me even more keyed up to go!
This morning, I will take the full english breakfast including black and white pudding, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, easy on the baked beans, heavy on the english bacon, eggs sunny side up and white toast. MMMMMMM
I hope MCW is getting some rest on her flight. She will need all of her energy!

Greetings.... don't know what's all part of an English brekkie.... so I'll keep with my boring usual stuff... bacon/avacado/cheese omelette with a side of bacon, OJ and a chai tea.
Gonna be another warm one today... although a bit cooler - about 104 today. Had a lot of wind and little rain last night. Was and still am hoping for more rain

LOL Amen CM - you understand. Yep - an oven is dry heat too, but I don't like sitting in one ! The other one I love is, but there's a breeze ! Yeah, stand in front of your blow dryer set on high... and you'll feel the same thing. lol Alas, I continue to live here. I'll be really happy in a month or so. :)

Hi, Everyone! Late again, as usual. I went to the gym this morning and then rushed home to get ready to go to my book group. But when I took my shower I found three new abscessed spots on my left leg. I've been having trouble with that ever since I took that bad tumble off my bike about a month ago. Now there are like nine spots on my leg. So Mr. WWM said it's off to the doctor. We called and they were able to work me in this morning. Seems like I have an infection in that leg so he's ordered antibiotics. I took the Rx to Wal-Mart but it was going to be two hours until it was ready. I ran some errands but it was still too early so I came home. Now I have to go back to pick up my Rx and it's so stinkin' hot!!!!
If it's not one thing, it's another!
