He's doing great, 2p - thank you for asking! There is one little spot on his incision that just wants to ooze so I'm still not letting him restart his coumadin. Maybe tomorrow. But he says that he feels good today.
It's weird about my leg. I've never seen anything quite like this. Figures that I would get some bizarre thing!

Ok full English breakfast:
Sausages, bacon, eggs (fried/scrambled/poached), tomato, mushroom, black pudding (alias blood sausage), fried bread, toast, marmelade, with a pot of tea to drink. If you want a "starter" it could be grapefruit or cereal or orange-juice. Nowadays people also add hash browns and baked beans.
Another English breakfast is Kedgeree.

Morning all - I'm at work and about to go and microwave my porridge. I'll chase that with a cup of coffee. The pub at the bottom of our building does really good cheap breakfasts and the smell of bacon when I pass in the morning is often very tempting. They even do takeaway breakfast if you ask them.

I am glad Mr. WWM is doing better now we have to worry about you. I hope the antibiotics kick in and get rid of your infection.

Thanks PM for your English breakfast explanation. I just remember it had beans and tomatoes on it when we ate in London.Posted 2 months ago by cricketsmama #

Can I paleeeeesssseee have an early martini? It took THREE hours to get 20 pills at Wal-Mart!!!! They sent me to the drop-off window three times and the last time the woman asked me if I had more shopping to do because it would be about an hour before my Rx was ready. That's when my neck veins distended and I told her that I had already looked at every single item that was for sale in Wal-Mart during my afternoon with them and that if they would just let me back there I bet that I could put 20 pills in a bottle in less than a minute. Amazingly enough, my Rx was ready in 10 minutes. I guess it was worth it because it was only $4. In the meantime, I bought a bunch of c - - p that I didn't even need!!!!!!!

LOL WWM! THAT is why it takes so long for those $4 scripts! How else are they gonna make up the gap/loss? PLEASE take good care of you! I've always heard doctors and nurses make the WORST patients... We want you healthy! Prayers for a quick healing for you now, and Mr. WWM continued healing from his surgery, too.

Oops - you probably heard right, Lainey!!! I've been sticking a needle in these abscesses for over a week thinking that I could treat them myself and save a doctor's office fee! I did clean the needle, though ;-)
I even came home with a Makin' Bacon cooker!!!!! WHAT was I thinking??????

You know, I'm going to suggest that Wal-Mart include a martini bar in their stores. That way, when we're waiting until we go through menopause for our Rx's, we can relax and have a martini. Then when we start aimlessly wandering the aisles again to kill even more time, we're bound to buy more c - - p. I mean, stuff.

WWM, hope you are feeling better. Went back to the doc today cause I thought my UTI wasn't better and it wasn't. He asked if I even took the antibiotic! LOL. Of course I did! He has me on another drug, this time Cipro. Of course I get the Pharmacy and they have no record of an rx being sent in. I called the doc and he said the pharmacy was wrong, pharmacy said doc was wrong! WOULD SOMEBODY JUST FILL THE DAMN RX????!!!! I know how WWM feels, I ended up buying stuff I didnt need and left without an RX! I did buy some cheese that upon returning home found that it was fuzzy AFTER eating one piece out of the package! I think I want to throw up (or is that a cheap substitute for Penicillian?)

Holy cow MC! My mom was allergic to Cipro, she always got UTI's too. What a pain in the tushie. I get my $4.00 prescriptions at the grocery store since they have them but still it's a 20 minute wait but at least I can buy my groceries then go back to get them. Plus they have a drive through so I can call them for a refill and just drive there and pick it up.

MC, I do believe that under the proposed changes to health care (ie: national health care) that moldy cheese is indeed a generic substitute for penicillin.

LOL on WWM's post :))) I have been battling a very mild bladder infection or something.....it is plain annoying, but have not gone to the dr. yet, some days it seems okay.....my Mom had to take Cipro alot as she did get alot of UTI's when she was older.....sigh, what a pain!
