   i was bout to straighten my hair and i didnt realize it was on i was just bout to turn it on and i picked it up by the metal and my whole hand is burned its soo painful n its the hand i write with i litteraly cried!

   i think so its just swelling and red i put aloe vear on it BARELY so i shouldd be fine luckily it was just on 75 could have been lot worse and on top of this i have a 3 page essay due tomorrow and i cant even move my hand without screaming

   ILCF - can you type your report? May hurt a bit less than grasping a pen/pencil. Sorry you got burned.... I've been down that same road with a curling iron.

    Whenever I burn myself (which is quite often since I'm such a klutz!) I grab an ice cube and keep it on the burn for as long as I can. It helps to keep the burn from blistering. And aloe vera is always in my medicine cabinet!!
    Hope your hand feels better soon-I know how burns hurt.
