Prayers for you and mom that you may not hurt so much as to remember the wonderful times with dad. With his passing comes another parent who will go to the bridge to help tend to all the kitties until we go "home". Let us know if you need anything!

  25. Thanks so much to you all,Dad passed away peacefully at 1230 on 9/3/2009.
    Thanks to all of you who directed me toward me towards hospice,it was just what all of us,especially my Dad. He had recovered from breaking his hip two separate times and numerous episodes of pneumonia and bronchitis along with having Parkinson's Disease.But it was his time now,his body was tired as was he. He likely had a stroke and went downhill quickly but still devoured his favorite meals.He was a wonderful father. Now another of the greatest generation is gone.
