  1. Dear Kittenmaster:

Sorry about making this post here but I don't know how else to contact you so please forgive me.
On the September 1st TDK, a tuxedo kitten was featured by the name of Negrita.
In the story area, Kittenkat told us that her kitten, Negrita, had an enlarged heart and would hopefully outgrow it. In the middle of the posts Kittenkat sadly informed us that Negrita had passed on. After shedding some tears I came up with an idea. Would it be possible if there could be a special forum section for prayer requests and maybe even distant healing? I posted my idea at Negrita's page and Purrs as well. Kittenkat felt honored and also thinks a separate prayer area should be created as well. As it is right now, a person has to go through all of the posts to find prayer requests. It would be so much easier for people such as myself who are more than willing to pray for a sick or injured cat and even to send healing to be able to go to a prayer section in forums. I am a certified Reiki Master and I am sure there are more other than myself that would be delighted to pray and or send energy to a beloved kitten or cat. Please consider creating such a section. It would be nice if Negrita's name could be added as a memorial as she was the inspiration for this idea. I thank you for taking the time to consider this idea. Many cats and kittens would benefit very much as it has been proved by reputable researchers how effective prayer is as well as distance healing. Have a great day and thank you for your help!

    Blessings,
    Cindy Hilderbrand

  2. Not to intrude on your thoughts, but the 'Purrs' section is already established and it is titled 'comforts, advice, etc.' and most of us send prayers and healing energy out to anyone who needs it on a daily basis. Just my own opinion, having sent many energies out to those in need myself and I know that most of us on TDK have done the same.

  4. We already have a section for just such a thing. Like Deb said the Purr sections was created for those that need prayer and well wishes for their furry friends as well as their human loved ones.

  5. Hi Cindy,

When Kittenmaster was first setting up the chatroom, he asked for suggestions. I, along with some others, suggested a section for prayers. He set it up, and called it Purrs. If you click on the Purrs thread, you will see that it is all requests for prayers, white light, good thoughts, etc. Welcome to TDK!

  6. Cat woman and Soxsmom, thank you very much for letting me know this. After reading about Negrita, I want a place for people to be able to go to where they could request prayers and or healing for their sick or injured babies. Negrita's story broke my heart as it did her Mama's. I want kitties everywhere to be able to get as much as they can in anyway to heal and recover. Thank you and God bless you!

  7. I'm a bit confused. KM, are you thinking that something in addition to the Purrs topic area is needed to meet this need? If someone wants to just look at threads in which people are looking for comfort/prayers/support for themselves or their kits, they can click on the Purrs topic near the top of the main chat page. That should only bring up prayer/support requests. I guess I'm not up to speed on other ways to set up a chat room, because I'm not understanding what you are asking Kitten Master to do.

Thanks for all your care and concern for sick and injured kitties and their staff. :)

  8. I have since found out that the Purrs section is for healing requests. I didn't know that before. Take care!
