  1. Now wait a minute--there are misconceptions on this thread that must be addressed--we ain't all Texans! I am a New Mexican! Actually I am an Old New Mexican--but a New Mexican nonetheless!

    Road cones---that might fit....

  2. SM, I just saw where you posted that your daughter was getting kicked out of band - I thought that got straightened out a while ago? Man, that stinks.

  3. No he is ticked that she is missing a show. It is the combination show where the Middle School Bands come out with them on the field and the Wild Cadette Dance Team brings out their girls from the elementary clinis they do and perform. He is giving her spot to a reservist and she has to challenge to get it back. Yet he isn't making his pets do the challenge thing when they are missing an actual competition. We are ready to file a grievance. And the water issue was supposedly straightened out, wrong! Monday night they were out there for 2 hour in 90 degree weather marching and a girl collapsed--dehydration! The band members had been yelling for water. I swear to God that this man will kill someone in the name of earning his win at a competition.

  5. I would love to WWM--I am so upset with this guy. He isn't about the kids at all! He is all about trophies. He is an a_ _ for sure with the crap he is pulling. But you know he is close to god like here, although he isn't half the man that our other band lead was! He was a bit of a tyrant, but he sure NEVER sacrificed the health of the kids!

  7. It's so hard for me to think of our "real" names. I look at your TDK names as terms of endearment!

  11. Do we have a count on TDKer's who will be there?

Lisa, (I hate to keep asking this), but it is the Maudie's on Brodie? Because someone said Slaughter but when I go to their website, there isn't one on Slaughter.

  21. Hi All I am so glad that CM is up to date on everything..... 22. Yahoo!! Just got home and spoke to KW's hubbie ~ she's still at work ;-) and will call when she gets home to confirm our schedule for tomorrow when she arrives in San Antonio..... WWM, I think the restaurant is at the intersection of Slaughter and Brodie; I'm soooo lame with directions, I went to AAA and had them make me triptiks to get to the Marriott AND the restaurant :-( Still having problems with the 'big' 'puter, so I probably won't have much time to check back 'til KW arrives tomorrow evening. Can't wait...... the clock is ticking ~ tic, tic, tic...

  23. Hi, KM. I'm supposted to be arriving tomorrow evening at 6:20pm. Can't wait! :D

  24. The excitement is palpable !!!

Posted 2 years ago by 2 Popoki #

  25. Sorry for the confusion re: Maudie's. The address does say Brodie Lane on the Web site--and I have no idea why. The restaurant faces Slaughter Lane. It IS in a shopping center that is at the corner of Slaughter and Brodie but it is NOT on the side that faces Brodie. It is on the side that faces Slaughter Lane.

  26. And sorry I can't help re: Alejandra's mom. I've called her "mom" for so long now, I've forgotten her name! Isn't that terrible!

  27. IT'S ALMOST TEXAS'S TURN!!!!! Yee-haw!!!!!
