Well, it's now nearly midnight here in NYC, and although I have to be up at about 7-ish, am just wide awake!! I was very tired when I got back from Dorie's, but seemed to get a second burst of energy, and have been up to Times Square (wow!), had a nice meal at a restaurant nearby (best pudding so far!!) and walked back. Not been able to take many pictures myself today, long story involving me and chargers (I don't DO technology!) but hopefully the problem is now sorted.
Bumblebee it would be great to talk to you - if you email me on the temp address I've set up for this trip (jennifer (no space or dot) berezai at yahoo dot com) with your number and when you're likely to be around, we'll see what we can do!
So, the suitcase is repacked and tidied, all ready for another customs official to turn upside down as I declare half a tonne of chocolate...yes, there is plenty left :o) - Chicago here I come!!

How did you have the energy to keep going last night? I fell asleep on the couch at 8pm, Amy woke me at 9:30pm said got to bed I did. I slept till 7am. where are you getting the energy???

Hi Mr. MCW! We put your wife on the train to the airport safe and sound this morning, after a really lovely few days. I've been trying to get my photos posted to the web site Multiply so everyone can see them, but the site just crashed on me (I didn't do it, I swear!). We had an awesome walk around Times Square last night and a great dinner (with killer pudding).

In the car and just 30 miles from Chi. Got a late start and stopped for lunch and for football. Oh and almost had a heart attack! Ambulance just came up behind us and laid on the horn. Jerk in left lane was not getting over. MC we'll be there soon.

Thanks for the lovely pictures!! They are clear and really nice!:)Wish I could have come there to meet with you all. I have a cousin that lives on the end of Long Island. My other cousin has given me her address and I've written her a letter. Haven't heard anything yet though..... She is an artist.
All checked into my hotel, AFTER smashing my car! Yes, I did! A guy cut me off when I was trying to get into the parking garage so I swerved and backed right into the EL line above. Not too bad damage, just enough to tell! I settled in and came out of the bathroom to find Bobby, Betty and Wilma jumping up and down on the bed! KIDS! At least I took their picture! LOL This is a great hotel, picked out by KYKAT! Its in the theatre distric and I am in the "violin" room. Chic and I will post pix as soon as I figure out this goofy new camera!

Ticked off but ok! I just talked with KYKAT and her and Mr. KYKAT are IN the city making their way to the hotel. I am sooooooooo excited! And I just can't hide it!
