Hi! Welcome to the NS! Tonight is laid back, lights are dimmed, candles glowing on the tables, windows open to let in a breeze. Kittehs are anxiously awaiting your loving. We are having drinks and appetizers tonight. Hope you had a great day. I am so excited about MCW winging into Chicago tomorrow. Looks like there has been fun so far! I am about ready to burst with excitement. Will post pix from our leg of the tour ASAP!

Evening MC! I'm sipping on a TGI Fridays "Orange Dream" blender drink - it's like drinking a creamsickle that has a kick to it!

The lovely Miss Leela is lounging at my feet. Guess she's tired out from following me around all day!

Hiya Links! Went outside to observe the sky. It's a bit cloudy; lots of moonlight but it's hiding behind some clouds. Tons of stars - beautiful night!

Hi MC, Joan and Links! It's been such a long week with this flu-bug. I did get to go out for coffee with a dear friend of mine. She makes me laugh and boy did I need some laughs! But alas, i'm still feverish and have a headache so I'll take a nice hot chai (okay with a shot of something adult!) and some cheese to nibble on and off to bed I go. If I get up later will say hi again.
Enjoy the meet-up tomorrow! Goodnight/day to all my friends!

I'm gonna need a Moonwalker (one of those 'dedication beverages' the social networking sites have to remember Michael Jackson by), and I'll be at the crudite table gathering cheese and raw veg to nosh on. Speaking of social networking sites, I now see why the nuts are starting to come out now: there's a full moon. I still don't know how the moon cycles affect human behavior, but doesn't anti-social behavior tend to increase during full moons?

When I used to work in the ER we dreaded a full moon. Truly the nut cases come out in force.
MCW is in Chicago tomorrow? Is that your pizza meetup? I think that I am so confused on dates!

Full moon here tonight, driving home from helping Meegz and Andrew move house we had the full moon rising right in front of us for an hour and twenty minutes. It was amazing, especially when we were the only car on the road. We got the kids moved successfully and Meegz old flat mostly cleaned up today, they can finish it tomorrow. I got to meet for the first time Andrews cat Lucky and also get a quick cuddle. Because both cats are moving into a new place they pooped them into the same room and all was fine. When we went back later both cats had the run of the house but were sticking close to furniture that had their home smells on them. They will love the outdoors once they have settled down indoors, plenty of easy to climb trees, lots of undergrowth and even a stream. Heading off to bed, smelling of cleaning products and feeling very tired.

I agree too Deb. We had a local police dog purposely drowned by a fleeing felon last year. It shocked everyone in the city.

It's been some hours since the last post so I'm guessing most people are tucked up in their beds(US) or out at work(UK). I'm heading off to bed now to curl up with my trusty hot water bottle.
It's 11.20pm NZ time, ...the night is chilly in NZ and cool to d**n hot in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light, healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^< Chicago MCW meet have a great time together.
All our thoughts and prayers are with Ange and family and Eric and also Deb and her family and Mum. May their passings be gentle and their fur friends waiting for them over the Rainbow Bridge.Posted 2 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #
