I thought Shadz would hide when Meegz fiancee Andrew first met her but she just walked right up to him and schmoozed. That was a good sign about him. I met his cat for the first time in the weekend, he's a lovely big tabby called Lucky that he rescued from an abusive flatmate. It's been 'fun' for them introducing their two cats and hoping they settle in ok together.

I have one thing I can't decide what to do about. He was asking me about XBF when we went out last weekend, since he had met him at the tennis tournament and said we looked pretty friendly. I told him we used to date, but that we haven't in a year and a half and we're just friends now.
I haven't told him that I'm working with him at the new job and I haven't told him that he's the one I play tennis with. I mentioned that I was going to play tennis this morning, but I didn't tell him it was with XBF. When he texted and asked me how the tennis went, I told him it got cancelled, but still didn't mention that I was supposed to play with XBF.
Should I tell him? It's not like I would get involved with XBF again, but we are good friends. I feel like I don't need to tell him at this point, but I don't want him to get upset when I do tell him and feel like I've been lying to him or anything.
What do you think? -
Sorry GD, got side tracked doing pickled onions. Hmmmmm, I think i'd just drop it into the conversation sometime as a 'no biggie'. Yeah I play tennis with him but that's it. What happened before you met GG doesn't effect the here and now.

I'm starting to think I should tell him, too. I mentioned to him at the tennis tournament that XBF and I play tennis together, but I don't know if he remembers. The way he asks about about me going and playing tennis, though, makes me think he probably does remember and wants to find out if I'm still playing with him.
He asked last week how I got the job at the gym, and I told him XBF got it for me. He hasn't yet asked how I got my new job..... -
Oh my, guess he'll just have to learn that sometimes people can just be friends after a relationship has ended. It does say something about the sort of person you are, not holding grudges, let bygones be bygones etc. As long as he realises XBF is no threat at all then that should be fine.
