  2. Just got back from the luncheon. OMG, it was wonderful!!! It was me, Jen, Andy, MCM, Siobhan, Vicki and her man. Tansey, Hermes and of course Bobby was there as well. everyone is just so awesome and Amy you are right, Andy is a great foil to Jen. He is great! I bought Chris some Dum Dums and some Chewy Chocolate Dum Dums, so Jen texted him and he was very happy!
    Her and Andy are on their way back to Chicago and is now preprating for the Austin meet!
    I have pics...I will download them and post them in a few :)

  8. OMG! The food was great, we all had a great time, and PH was on his best behavior, a rarity. I just tried a little piece of the chocolate MCW brought from England: it is so different from American chocolate, it's like the difference between store-bought tomatoes and homegrown tomatoes. The flavor is intensely chocolate.

  11. The turn out for MCW's USA tour has been outstanding...I fear that the chocolate will be gone before she reaches the west coast, but that's okay I'll wait till next Easter when the Cadbury eggs are back on the shelves. Looking forward to the So Cal meet up!!

  19. 2bp, trust me there is a LOT of Chocolate! Andy was really ribbing her about the massive amount of chocolate and that she would never get rid of it all. She had to dump ALL the chocolate out in customs when she hit the USA! Love the pix Jen!

    I want to know from Airy where the NZ ice cream shop in is CA... I want to taste the difference between USA and NZ ice cream.

  24. Hi Hi Hi!! I'm home now, too, from our wonderful lunch. It was about a 2 hour drive--just hopped off to Cleveland to "do lunch" with some super folks!
    Jen (MCW)--just a pleasure meeting you and Andy. Jen (CM)- what a great hostess! Judy (Siobhan)- you're a lovely lady and I'd love to meet up with you again sometime (and everyone else, too, of course, but Judy and I are close). And Vicki and Glen-so nice to "break bread" with you! And such fun to share with Hermes and Tansey and Bobby, too.

    2B-don't worry about the chocolate--Jen has it all taken care of--nobody will go without. But...she does have quite a group coming to Austin...LOL

  26. Ditto, CM! The sun came out and before I knew it, I saw a sign that said Toledo 10 miles!! Couldn't believe how short the trip home was.

    We'll have to get together again. Do you guys like baseball? Maybe next year we could go to a game in Cleveland when the Tigers play there. I might get doused with beer when I cheer for the Tigers, but it would be fun.
