Gini, prayers and blessings to Grandmother, you and your family. I hope that she passes over the bridge with peace in her heart and soul. I know how very hard it is to be far away when it happens or is close. {{{hugs}}}

Thanks for the continued support. Grandma is still hanging in there; I really can't believe it. Neither can the doctors. Tonight she developed a fever of 100.4. It's so hard going on this emotional rollercoaster. It really honestly makes me start to doubt things. What if she could make it? If she has been alive a full week after life support was taken away, maybe she was meant to be here. What if they could feed her? Keep her in a nursing home? help her? Why is she still fighting so hard even though her brain left her a decade ago? I just don't know anymore..I don't get it......

Gini, personal belief here only, maybe she is staying for the family right now. Blessings to you and your Grandma along with the rest of the family.
