   Well I survived Vegas and came back with more money than I left home with!! That was a triumph in itself. Saw a couple of famous people, or people who used to be famous. Vanilla Ice, Criss Angel and Magic Johnson. Rode the roller coaster at NYNY over 10 times. Went to the Riviera and had my hot dog.

   My favorite part of all though? The fountains at the Bellagio. Both times I went "Con Te Partiro/Time to Say Goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman played. One of my favorite songs ever. I have the video on my phone. If I can upload it to here I'll let you guys see it. I still get the chills thinking about it.

   Ok back to work.

   HM you were in Vegas??? How did I miss that??? Dang it, I would have loved to meet up with you there...I guess next time. I love that roller coaster at NYNY too! Did you see the pirate show at Treasure Island???

   Ohhhhh HM..I'm so glad that you enjoyed your trip sooooo much! Chris Angel...WOW..That guy makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up! Cool!! Sorry you had to come home and jump right back into work. I think in lieu of the Health Reform rallying that's so up in the air, I think they should add one extra day to one three day weekend to every working American. What do you think? A paid day off on Obama! =)

   Thanks, you guys. It was a blast.

   Karen, he's even creepier looking in real life. He was eating something from Del Taco - lol.

   I think everybody should (who can) work 4 days a week. I've been in jobs where we did 4/10's and it was awesome. It definitely was good for morale. Weekends are hard. You spend Saturday catching up on stuff and Sundy just flies by.

   HM, that sounds like a great time. Did you just do a long weekend? I would love to do that sometime, only do it where I can visit TDK'ers! I really enjoyed the meetup this weekend!

   Just did a long weekend, MC. Friday until Sunday night. Next month though, I get to go back and see my brother and SIL in Massachussetts. I'm really looking forward to that, I'll be there from Friday to Friday. I save all my travel for the end of the year evidently - LOL.

   Glad you had a good time at the meetup. Those are SOO much fun, even though I've only been to one. But it was a good time, and good times should roll on!

    HM, you should be very proud of me - I consumed vast quantities of bacon in Chicago. The risotto I had at brunch was so good! Think spaghetti carbonara made with risotto instead of pasta. We won't talk about how unhealthy it probably was.

    I AM proud of you, honey!!! I'm sitting her laughing at you consuming 'vast quantities of bacon'. Think I'll go home and put some in the oven. Yummmmmmmmmmy. I've never had spaghetti carbonara though. Everybody says I should try it, that I would probably like it.

    ooh i didn't know you came here to vegas.... i would of met you for lunch ... i am glad you had fun .. without me.... next time you come to vegas let me know !! you got to see some good shows , i have never seen any of those .. and you came back with money .. which is a trick in it's self around here !!!
