Hi everyone! Just wanted you to know MCW and Emma are safe and sound in Austin!!!! I took them to eat barbecue at a "local joint" and now they're trying to entice Misty out from under my bed! I'm going to let them have the computer if they want it!

Hip Hip Hooray! I am so glad she arrived safely in Texas! I think things are a slight bit different there then in the midwest! LOL Have fun MCW!! Isn't she great Lisa?

Hey, sweethearts!
We are now about to engage in the finest slumber party Austin has ever seen...unless you count the party on Friday, which will include ALLLLLLLLLLL! Well, if you can have a slumber party at a restaurant....
MCW is stretched out full length trying to lure the cats out from under the bed, carrying on a proud tradition I began a few moments ago. The two cats are scowling at us. Success is evading all three of us right now.

Hi from Austin! No luck oersuading the cats out yet, but we will not be defeated! In fact, we're getting out the big guns now (actually cat nip, but you get the picture!!)
Lisa took me and Emma to a real Texan BBQ joint, and I am feeling suitably stuffed. Apparently the peach & raspberry cobbler I ordered for dessert wasn't really a cobbler, but whatever it was, it was yummy!

Oooh, I remember high school slumber parties. We'd stay up most of the night, but if anybody fell asleep, we'd steal their bras and/or panties and put them in the freezer! Anybody ever do that? That was about the worst we did, sorta tame compared to today. Have fun everyone--but get some sleep because it sounds like you're gonna need it.

Glad MCW and Emma are safely arrived. I'm checking in from Kittymom's home in San Antonio. We are having a great visit and I caught glimpses of Mac and Grommet. :) Don't wear yourselves out before Friday, Lisa, Emma and MCW!!!!

We are going to visit the Alamo tomorrow and ride on a river barge through the River Walk area of San Antonio (if it doesn't pour down rain like it did here today!). I must have brought the rain with me from the Pacific NW. Kittymom says it hasn't rained here in weeks! lol

It sounds like you're gonna have a blast. What fun! My husband asked me how the Cleveland trip went, and I told him it was wonderful. It was, indeed. I stayed with a friend about fifteen minutes away from our meeting place. I was his first house guest since he bought his home, and not only did I have a queen-sized air bed, I had a 'loaner' cat too. His boycat Garfield came up for a nice cuddle, and I nearly fell asleep scritching him. Garfield got a lot of attention Tuesday morning before I left for our lunch meeting too. I think I spoiled my friend Rick's cat (lol).

It was wet in San Antonio!! We still managed to have fun. :)
We toured the Alamo. Amazing history in that place. I asked the park ranger if he'd hold Bobby's picture while I took his photograph. He declined. (Bobby wanted to scratch him, but we restrained him.) Bobby has been getting around in San Antonio. I will have photos up in a few minutes. :)
